Lucianus' red eyes shone bright in the moonlight beneath the curtain of white that his bangs formed, covering most of his face, like red rubies. He walked arm in arm with a young woman with bright red hair. She was gothic, but a passerby would have thought the same of him, for he was wearing a black vest with buckles down the front and a hood to cover the rest of his hair from view, but beneath the hood his hai was shoulder length, like his bangs, and pure white. His pants black material that was tucked into his buckled boots. As him and the red hair young woman walked down the side walk they came to an alleyway that the normally took as a shortcut to where the woman thought Lucianus lived, but was noting more than an abandoned building.
The young woman tugged the white haired 25 year old's arm towards the alleyway, it was lightly, but in his weakened state it was a tug and it caused him to stumble into her. The young woman looked up at him, his 6 foot stature not wavering to her 5 feet height, at least not completely, but within seconds he was to his full stature again, and he led the way into the alleyway, stopping half way in, removing his arms from hers, walking over to a neighboring trash can and grabbing the first blunt object he came across, a metal pipe. He did not care, nor did he wish to care what kind of metal the pipe was made of, he just knew it would serve to his purpose.
The young woman opened her mouth to speak, but before any words had left her mouth Lucianus spun around, took a few steps towards her and hit her square in the side of the head with the pipe. He immediatly dropped the pipe and kneeled down to her body, resting his hand on the middle of her chest, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath before mumbling a few words before the spot in which his hand was began to glow white, and he slowly pulled his hand away from her chest as the white glow turned into a white orb that finally rested in the palm of his hand when it had completely left the young woman's body. Lucianus the began to slowly push the orb into his chest slowly, the light emitting from it beginning to turn red. It was a curse, he could never have pure soul, and white light inside of him, for he was a soul stealer, a cousin to Satan, but it was all he could do to stay in this world, he'd long ago lost his soul and been cursed to steal others to stay alive, this was of course after numerous bouts of coma that were unexplainable by the doctors, even when his parents had tried paid for the best doctors to come visit his coma striken body, they could not explain it, only a priest that volunteered in the chapel knew of his illness and had begged that his parents let him go, it was in turn his parents disapproval of the preist that caused them to call one of dark magic from the bayou to fix their beloved son. Little did they know they had cursed him for the rest of his life.
Lucianus looked down at the young womans now pale and cold body as he stood straight. He hated this part, the part where he left the body to be found by a passerby, for the person to become what he had once been, lifeless and useless to the world, to rot away slowly, but this was the world he lived in. Kill or be killed, steal or lose everything. It's all he knew, it's all he'd know for the rest of his life.
