Kerry's Place,all Welcome
October 8,2011.

Today started out well. I work a weird shift because of what I do for my store. I help unload trucks,and then deal with the inventory part. Since our trucks usually arrive around four in the late afternoon, I come in then and then stay till one in the early morning. I have to say after eight years at this job, this is one of my least favorite shifts. I like my crew though. We do a bang up job. I have worked with them now for about three years. I am hoping to move to the morning shift soon,it would sure help out my kids.
I am in the process of getting my daughter ready to go to College and she is excited. She graduates this year. I cannot believe how much time has flown. I really enjoy my kids. My son is still only twelve, so I still have a few years before he is in High School. I love them so much. He is planning on attending the same place as she is, because they have the programs he is interested in for what he wants to learn to do. Me, I am just happy they know what it is they want, and that will make them happy. They make excellent grades and my daughters GPA is pretty darn good at 3.7. My son is the same as far as his grades. He gets mostly A's with the occasional B, but that is when he is slacking. To him, he picks up so fast. I just encourage and support them.
As for me, well, I may not be doing the job I really want, but for now it is alright, and I do not dislike it too much, except I still wish our bosses would all get on one page and quit trying to over-ride each other, that is very frustrating for people who are waiting for direction, and very de-moralizing to see. Anyhow that is all I have to say really.
It is a beautiful day today and we have been getting rain off and on for which I thank God. I really do. Our cooler weather is setting in which is good also. I do not want to feel too cold, but I know we need to have our changes like everyone else. Well, I am off to take my daughter to a "girl's hang out" with our church, and my son will be going to spend the night with a friend tonight. smile I am glad, he needs some socializing with other kids. I love them both deeply and I love having Gaia in common with them. My daughter was the one who found this place first and we all got on. She has several friends who play and we all LOVE ZOMG. LOL
