Selina had officially left the ways of getting money for sex for good- she had grown tired of the unattractive, smelly, and typically fat men buying her feigned interest. Sure it was fun to tie them up and whip them until they said the safety word, but she could find more attractive people to do that to. Now, with her specialized Cat costume and malleable whip she would take to the streets for the first time as a new sort of hero. A Robin Hood of sorts, stealing from the rich to give to those in need (though she would most definitely keep some for herself, she wasn't a total hero after all. It had been a while since she had been out in the big leagues and the few things that she had stolen to keep her skill in order were child's play compared to what she was going to go for tonight.
She had to have a plan, so first she needed to scope out her mark. She slipped into an indiscreet outfit that would help her blend into the background. With a slink and a smirk she walked out of her apartment waving a goodbye to Holly, the girl who she was keeping off the streets and out of the record books as best as she could- however the girl had the itch for thievery. She caught the girl in an argument with their super "Now now Holly, a lady never raises her voice. What seems to be the problem?" The super; a balding, elderly, Russian man who was prone to forgetting the agreement that they had set up before they moved in. He explained the problem and Selina settled it- turning on the flirtation and charm. After he left she turned to Holly and gave her a look that the girl understood by now. With that little hitch out of the way she headed to the museum with a bag that had a few things in it and her suit under her outfit, ready to start the heist as soon as she felt that it was clear.

After a bit of exploring, admiring some of the things that she wasn't intending on stealing anytime soon, she heard a ruckus. Everyone, including the guards turns to look at whatever it was. Grateful for the distraction she snuck over to her target, a wealthy woman with a necklace of rubies that Selina's trained eye knew were real (she had done her research) and so she did a classic pick-pocketing technique, except with something worth much more than any street walker would ever get. It wasn't her true goal, that was arriving later- but hey, lesson number one as a thief- when the pickings are good the good get picking. However, as she needed to slip away from her first mark she decided to walk outside. That was not a good decision. People were running, away apparently- from some sort of infraction and in this city, who knew what that meant. Ever curious Selina decided to see what was going on, so she scaled up a fire escape and changed into Catwoman- leaving her civilian clothing on the rooftop for now, but hiding it so no other curious people would find it. Leaping from one roof to another she went towards the source, a growling sound growing ever louder. She heard screaming and watched Green Arrow, Black Canary, and a very familiar figure of Poison Ivy pass over the roofs past her. They didn't know she was watching, but she did. She followed them silently and saw that Canary looked injured, but she sat up after a few moments. Catwoman knew that she wasn't known as a villianess or a hero yet, but she wasn't completely sure if she should intrude on their little group- instead she figured she should get a message to the ever popular Batman that people he probably considered Allies were in trouble. She thought for a moment, but decided that it would probably be easier to find the masked vigilante than anything else. She was in a helpful sort of mood and she had time to kill before it was time for the main event, so she might as well entertained... And the best place to find a bat was in the dark- so she headed towards the shadows of town. That's when she saw the two people flying... Now that was an interesting trick. With a smirk she employed her whip to get across a larger gap than she could jump heading in the same direction as the flying people- unsure of what she'd say or if she understood why she felt like she wanted to help.
