Prologue: A Midwinter’s Nightmare
“…H-Hello?”... “…Anyone there?” “...please…” I heard from a cell over, I wanted to respond, I wanted to comfort whatever it was, but as I heard the sound of choked blood and a splatter on the warm yet dark concrete several cells over, I could have felt my change of heart. Maybe if I would have helped all this would be different? No, I would still have had all this happen, these monsters… all this would have happened… and I still alone. I feel this dark surrounding me like a sheet… you… you are my only company… no I am talking to myself no? Well maybe I will still tell you before it will return… yes I will… so it will not forget me…
