Holo
In September of 1939
Humanity entered a truly nightmarish time
A devil rose to rule with an Iron fist
With a symbol of peace to act as a catalyst
We came to fear an Eagle of red, gold, and black
It took us six years to earn our humanity back
The sky was black as if Burned by the hate
As six million suffered a maleviolent fate
The demons found those for who they Blamed
That new fuel now on a country inflamed
With marching feet and Subliminally clouded eyes
The darkest of Pogrums was annihilation on the rise
With Darkness in heart and honor betrayed
A great people'snumber was going to fade
This temptation from Hell may be hard to swallow
But it Caust us our souls and left us so Holo
B.A.W.
Footnote: Yes I do know that words such as Malevolent, cost and hollow were spelled wrong. This was all done intentionally for the sake of the poem.
Maleviolent stood for the violence of mankind. Caust and Holo were to hint at that the story was about the Holocaust for those who were not all there to figure it out by the dates and other imagery painted within the poem.
