~Falling Star~

I have wished
upon many falling stars.
I never hoped
those wishes will come true.
Not because the wishes were bad,
but because the stars were falling.
They must have carried so much guilt,
so much sorrow,
so much grief,
so many secrets.
So heavy that their hearts drowned
and carried them deep down
into the infinite black.
Their flame diminshed
and swollowed by darkness.
Their existence put out
and sucked away by silence.

Falling stars,
I will stop wishing on you.
For I know
and you know
it would make you
feel better.
