Kazuma Uchiha was the middle child of three. As the middle child he was in the background of his family's affections as his elder sibling was a bit of an attention seeker. This is something he never regretted nor resented. It help him gain perspective.
Kazuma's general existence has generally noted as "nothing remarkable." Even in his studies he was seemingly average by comparison to the rest of his class, though where ever he was other seem to excel more for him being around.
He is often joking called the "Uchiha Disappointment," as he is perceived to have a lack of skill that has become expected of the Uchiha, may it be either good and bad.
It is difficult to say whether he has potential or a lack there of it. He seems content to pass almost indefinitely as unremarkable.

During the Diamyo Wars these Shinobi were employed by the various feudal lords as body guards since few could escape their abilities and thus their clan grew to infamy to rival other famous dōjutsu.
Like the Sharigan the users are not born able to use the dōjutsu but must be awaken. When activated the eye ripples green and yellow till its fully formed.
