Yes, today is the day we all seem to look at the sky and wonder what is going to end up wrong again. BUT YOU'LL NEVER KNOW! Then I will laugh at you for trying so hard. Exams are next week and that is so gross. I have biology and religion the first day! Talk about grrr....
~*nOW i wILL rIGHT A sTORY*~
Stretching the feathery white wings behind her back, she sat looking down upon the people of some city. Some lonely city. The thick concrete window sill she sat on had blue paint chipping from it. With every gust of chilled wind, a bit would peel away and fall. Fall down the 27 stories down.... where it will always hit bottom. Then, if the fall didn't kill it, all those billions of people would step on it. It was so small no one saw it. All that paint chip was the dirt they kicked away everyday. Like her. Looking up towards the sky, the girl had tears that shined like the stars twinkiling above her. Her bare feet dangiling carefully at the edge of the hard ledge. The long white gown that reached her knees looked as if she had come from a glorious ball. A tiara that said "Happy Halloween" shined with the faked diamonds.
"Come inside." a cold hand grabbed her shoulder. She turned, stunned and saw no one there. The dark, empty room laid behind her was still. No one had lived inside there for months. Not after that boy killed himself. Everyone in the city believed it was wrong to step into a room where a soul could be left sitting there. She, however, would always come to the window. No one should be alone on Halloween night.
Slowly crawling inside, she stretched out the beautiful white wings. The feathers that ruffled fell off. "Ryo?" she whispered. "Today is your anniversery."
The room stared back at her with a black glare. She hadn't expected a response. "I'm still angry at you." her blue eyes looked towards the floor and her blonde hair dropped limply over one eye. "You didn't have to do it, you could have ran away with me. Your so selfish."
"I'm sorry." a response came by the window. She turned to see no one, nothing. "I should have told you."
"Actually, it's okay." she sat down, her knees held up to her chest. "I just came to say I'm sorry too."
"It's alright."
She looked beside her to see a boy standing by the window sill. His brown hair now white, and his skin pale. He was looking out on to the city. She had no idea how trapped he must feel. Scrouging around everyday in this one room where he had died. His only relief of change was the scenery outside that very small window. "There were other ways."
His shoulders slumped in a sigh, and his black pants with chains attached to them rattled. "Yes I know. Believe me, I'm paying the price as we speak." he voice so airy and low. Like a whisper. The thick chains attached to the shackles on his arms were locked onto the window, keeping him from escaping through the door. If he had wanted to jump, the chains would hold him outside, and then he couldn't get back it. A metal collar reminded her of a dog being chained up. Starving the mind of hope.
She grabbed his hand and sat him down next to her. His icy grip steady within her grasp. "I miss you."
"I miss you too."
His smile seemed to vanish as quickly as it had came. "Happy Halloween?"
"Happy Halloween." she smiled, brushing his bangs from his tramsparent face and kissing the air in front of his cheek. "And happy anniversery of being dead."
Wallah, a quickie I wrote up.
