I just had a dream that started out in high school but ended with me stealing the last of the world's supply of york peppermint patties from the government who was confiscating them from everyone.
I don't remember much of the high school part. I do remember that I went to Danny's house and he lived with a bunch of other guys in a really big house. the house had a room/elevator that was strictly for pizza. There were metal shelves that moved when you press a button and they had pizza and slices on them that came down and gave you pizza from a practically unlimited supply. That was all anyone in the house ever ate was that pizza.
I went there after we had broken up just to be a little nosey while he wasn't home. I found that he had a new gf and it was Shana from school. She was in his room and i went and hung out with her. We mostly avoided talking about Danny and we just caught up while hanging out in his room. We were okay until night came and I had overstayed my welcome just by a little, and I started talking about some of his quirks. He was due back soon from work so i was about to head out. Shana laid down on a bare carpeted floor because he hadn't moved the bed in. I told her "you know, not to overstep, but he does have a mattress. He just doesn't like to use it but he shouldn't make his girlfriend sleep on the floor when he has a perfectly good bed." I couldn't believe I had said that because I was the one who gave him the mattress and how could I want another girl sleeping with him on it? But she was my old friend and I left out the part that I had given it to him. She didn't say anything so I just left the room.
I hadn't left the house yet. I snuck into the pizza closet. I was suddenly eavesdropping on government agents talking about a recall on something fun. The thing being banned changed a few times. At first, it was a sugar cereal with too many marshmallows and colorful small toys in the box. I listened to their plans of rounding up everyone who had bought the cereal. My name was on the list.
They went into Danny's house trying to find me but they didn't know that he and I had broken up. So I had a one up on them. I snuck around for a while. I went into a small room that his two dogs, (which are really Cheyenne's dogs Rhett and link) were locked in. The dogs knew me and stayed quiet.
It changed from the cereal to the pizza that all of the boys in the house ate. They were not happy about giving up their pizza so one of them who knew me helped me sneak around in the house. I had some kind of plan but when Danny came home I had to leave the house without being seen.
I ran around the block to avoid him but I was in my underwear. It was a really nice neighborhood so I was minimally afraid of being grabbed by some creep and more concerned that someone would complain that I was indecently exposing myself in public. Cop cars were starting to show up but I played it cool so they hopefully wouldn't notice me. I made it around the block and I went halfway back in time. I saw current Danny outside by his garage and a past, younger Danny out in the street playing basketball or football by himself. He was from a time before we had met so I went up to him and told him that someone was after me. I hugged him and begged him to get me to safety.
He was confused because I was still in my underwear and he was leary of me but he hid me from his current self without realizing. He helped me get around the corner. It was night suddenly and I was outside the big house he lived in. The banned snack was now York Peppermint Patties. I was trying to get back in the house to get the peppermint patties so his friend helped me through the window again.
I was in a dorm room with a bunch of girls. There were more girls on the other side of the wall. The girls on the other side were mean and didn't want anyone else to have the peppermint patties. I pretended to be uninterested even though I had a bunch hidden away behind the building. I didn't want the main mean girl to find them. She had left so I got help from a nice girl and we pulled off a heist to steal back the peppermint patties from the government agents.
There was a helicopter that I commandeered, and a dumpster full of the patties and the small toys from the cereal boxes. I grabbed bunches and hand fulls. I stuffed my pockets, my bag, my wagon, and my face with as many as I could. I didn't get them all but enough to sell them on the black market if I chose to. I gave lots away to my friends. We had to be careful of cops because they were everywhere and looking for us. I said to myself "It's not a free country if we cant have york peppermint patties." I was in a helicopter, piggybacking a government agent in the sky to avoid detection. I got away with the greatest peppermint patty heist the world had ever seen.
