Song: One True
((As you can read below, the hive doesn't always get along. eek ))

You're the only one, it's true.
You've won me over, there's no more to do.
You're all alone, a loner.
And, you want none before you,
You want me to hone in on your solo.
So, I say take a bow, get off the stage.
I see it boiling up, your rage.
Loner! Loner!
None are good enough for you.
So, it's true that you're on your own.
This is how you've grown?
Why are you pecking down on me?
You're truly one alone, I see.
Alone, and pecking on the chicks.
You think my small stature tells of weakness.
But, you've quite made a miss.
And, the grave hitters are coming for you.
You'll be all six feet under,
All your lives lost in a blur.
You're one false god, who'll occupy one grave.
No, strike that. No grave for you.
Incineration. To ash you go.
Does your anger grow? Strike!
Lose all control to your wrath!
Lose your sense. Lose your tactics.
Get overt, crawl into the thicks.
Lose your cool. Lose your cover.
Show us who hovers behind this chick.
You've no new tricks, they've seen it before.
Have you gripped deep into my core?
Maitreya. Jesus Christ. Siddhartha. Santa Clause.
You attack just to break my claws,
Because I'm more beast than you can mimic.
You hide my devilish body behind your sphere.
You're just human, and I'm insectkind.
Why do you bring your pounding here?
Why did you choose me to bind?
You cast your spell, "Make me Fae, so I can play."
And, it won't fly today, even if you yell.
You'll not get my flight, no matter your fight.
You'll never have this Nightcrawler look,
No matter how deeply you push in the hook.
You've got me all strung up as you empty my cup.
You puppet me with your virtual powers,
But the real thing is never to be yours.
Are you deep in my core, replacing my heart?
Is my life your acting part?
Am I the role you always worked to obtain?
You want my body, simple and plain.
But, the reapers found me, see?
They are promising you pain,
To make an example of you.
You tried to isolate me from the church,
But these angels have taken to perch by me.
You thought innocence would be assumed human,
As you try to paint me sin incarnate,
But your five digits don't fit this glove,
And they're not human above.
You're putting the creation above the creator.
You've lost reality in a blur.
You're self-diagnosed, yet lost in your episode.
You take credit for the hive's leadership,
But the scent trail's to my feet.
You're counter claim of Grey's quite the drug trip.
She could never do this feat.
You see, Jean's got but two consciouses,
Each only able to focus on one task at a time.
An actual hiver there is,
But you keep up the impersonation crime.
You don't have the mind for the hive,
No matter how desperately you strive.
Reach! Reach!
You can't keep up with this population.
Bow, and behave.
No matter how much you crave.
Leadership. The role contested.
Structure the hierarchy, show they're blessed.
They don't trust eachother.
The thoughts are in a blur.
The villains pit them against one another.
Their thoughts are in a blur.
They resist the hive, but it can't be stopped.
That it's out of control need be understood.
The humans struggle to find their places.
They're as ungraceful as my growth spurt feet with my tail stowed.
They struggle with what has occurred.
The unstable have lost their minds.
Don't fear insectkind.
Bow, and behave.
Trust the hive, trust in majority rule.
Did you know that the majority are good?
Goodness is rightness, is this understood?
Flow in the hive, dive into it's waters.
Come, and enjoy our honey.
Come, and be so sunny.
Calm. There should be no bomb.
Ssshh! X-Men trust in the neighborhood.
We hive everywhere, even there in New York.
Quit the resistance. Why take such a stance?
Join in the dance. Take these waters, and rinse.
The hive is a gift, sweet as it's honey.
Lift out of fight or flight, and come to see.
You're disrupting the hierarchy, without the tools to lead.
Read that again.
With the hive in mind, we will not bow.
Don't disrupt the insectkind, let the honey flow.

I failed to thrive after birth. What's my life worth?
Find my haunt, and flaunt your justice.
I call for Heaven's bliss. Save my soul.
I'll find my role at home in the Kingdom.
Punish these people who dare say family,
To their love I never held the key.
Never good enough.
This life was rough.
They've no love to their deepest cores.
Let them hear your roars.
Konso my spirit, get me out of this.
Who are these people claimed family?
The relation, I cannot see.
Why was I in their custody?
How could they have birthed me?
I call out Nightmare Bear!
There's no family there.
Beware, my hive, of the bear inside.
Have you cried?
He possesses, and confesses within.
The isms. The fears. The sins.
Pull together, and find the waking life lair.
There'll never be a win here, but don't you fear.
It's just a nightmare, so try to take care.
We'll eventually be there, so the bear ought to beware.
I'm a Ghostcat of a bug, and my grave's dug and buried,
While you all fight over the lead.

I have no idea if I live in reality,
But in this dream I've a Cat role,
And Nightcrawler's haunting me,
And tradition's his deadset goal.

There's no consistent story, no clear life path.
