My New Life Pt. 3 (Smog lines above the city)
So what the ******** is today? Ah, July 24. Welp, on July 23, last night, I went on an adventure with two friends, one being Birthday-boy Brad and one being super-skater Chris (who were drunk off their a**) on bikes. Our time? 2 AM, the darkest of all times. Our destination!? Iriqouis Park's peak, closed off. Now even if it was illegal to be even near the park at this time, we took off. Despite a few falls from Chris, we still plunged on...

When we reached the park, it was a rie up a steep hill to the entrance to the hill. Needless to say, there were still lights here and he road could be seen, as most of things could be. We reached the top, and looked. What we saw was a forest of black and a gray road, the distance not too far to be seen...

We went in. A long straight road...and really, it got so dark at times that all you could ever see and work with was a blur of gray. Plus with collapses in one part of the road and sharp turns, it was nos afe ride for a speed-biker. Eventually, we reached a parking lot and discussed possible situations, like possible gangs, bears, and what to do if a car (somehow) came. Anwyays, we plunged into the darker end of the darkness again...

We progressed further, and found a split in the road. One way leading directly to the peak, and one leading to a twisting path that also leads tot he peak. We took the long road, because this was getting enjoyable and by God, we have to savor it.

This road (equally dark, of course), I did lag a bit behind as we heard a loud sound of running. A DEER ran in front of Chris and nearly hit him! Amazing. This was getting better and beter. We found a more open field spot and amazingly, I saw the stars. And heard the sounds of everlasting nature. A bit further and we got a grand view of our city. Standing above it (and it's smog line), it was satisfying. We hadn;t reached the peak, but we were close enough.

The epak itself was a gamble, and we were wondering if people were there, but we went anyways. And for a time it weas just us there, admiring the beautiful view. Then two other guys came to do the same and smoke weed. We talked about roller hockey amongst other things. After they left, we did the same, taking the short road back and laughing the night away. I also seen Chris go down a hill for about a minute, drunk off his a**, standing on the bike with no hands. Incredible.

It was a birthday gift for Brad and ultimate satisfaction for myself.
