The grind to level isn't really all that time consuming, but it is a bit annoying once you get to like level 10-12. I've read some guides that all recommend the same thing just put all your stats points into STR, and use the skill points to max the skill Clean Hit for decent damage since both stat/skill points reset after your first job change(Can't say anything about the second because I don't know.). If I'm Being honest I like to put a few skills points in STA so I can have more FP(But it's kinda useless since you can just get buffs, and use items to increase FP usage maybe it'll be more useful end game with Blade/Knight though I really don't know). I'd recommend just following the guides and spamming the Clean Hit skill whenever you can for quick 1v1 kills.
