Alright, Last time I checked we are a species that were spawned from this rock in space. How can we honestly say that anything we create is unnatural, synthetic or artificial? If you are just as natural as the trees and bugs that surround you, well then why doesn’t that validity extend to the things we create? The destruction of the rainforest, the polluting of the seas and air, seem to me anyway, to be a fairly natural occurrence.
Maybe it’s just my uncaring nature, but everyday on my way to work I walk past a troupe of Greenpeace rejects in their limp-wristed and poor attempt to bring consciousness to environmental issues, I feel like kicking them in the eyeballs. My rant to them after doing some cornial damage to would be as follows:
“Alright look you poor example of a human being, everything we as humans destroy, kill and plow over with a diesel pushin’ instrument of destruction is innately, in every way, a completely natural occurrence. It’s not as if the human race came from some other universe, zeroed in on this poor helpless planet and then raped that b***h mother nature until she couldn’t walk without bowed legs. We were spawned from this ********’ mother! Just like the spider that cracked it’s way out of it’s egg and now feasts upon the flesh of it’s mother, we kill and deflower nature just like we are exactly OBVIOUSLY supposed to. Shithead”
Has nobody noticed that, if we do destroy this pointless rock in its lonely space, then that will have been a completely natural happening? ******** THE WHALES – ******** YOUR RAINFOREST – ******** GREENPEACE! I’d like to see humanity accept our destructive and creative nature, but also understand that IT IS NATURE! We are the soil and we seem to like to s**t where we eat, then so be it.
That which we create is, in my opinion, just as valid as a natural happening of nature as the spawning of salmon up the river to lay their eggs, fertilize them and then die.
We and everything we do, create, destroy, consume and leave behind is natural. It wasn’t supposed to happen any other way, was it?
and my last point... i am just being the devils advocate. if it were up to me i would save the planet! just creating a topic to debate over! (although i still hate greenpeace)
