The soft purr of the black kitten put onigiri-onna asleep as the knocking sound at the door went unnoticed.
Rayiss stood outside waiting for her to answer. "Please answer" he begged, but didn't shout. He knew if he shouted, she would get worried. "She has so much to worry about, I'd hate to tell her what's happened", Rayiss thought to himself.
Onigiri-onna slept soundlessly, unaware of her surroundings. She lived in a cosy apartment, it wasn't in the nicest area but she congragulated herself on decorating it. The walls were a dark maroon colour while the bed she was sleeping on was hidden with silk gold covers. She turned her head slightly.
MEOW!
She had accidently squished Neko, her baby kitty. Onigiri-onna mumbled sorry but the kitten had woken her up enough to hear Rayiss knocking.
"Who is it?" she tried to sound like she was fine, but her weak voice made Rayiss worry.
Rayiss shouted his name out to her, hoping she'd open the door soon.
"The sooner, the better, we need a chance to escape" he thought.
Onigiri-onna smiled, she didn't think Rayiss would come back so quickly. She ran to the door, slowing down before opening it.
"Did you come to check up on me", she asked in a sweet voice.
Rayiss struggled to talk. She was so beautiful. Her straight black hair was slightly messy and her wide dark hazel eyes made her irrestible. Without speaking he leaned towards, grabbed her waist softly and kissed her passionately.
Onigiri-onna was shocked, but she didn't want him to stop.
Rayiss stepped back, "Onigiri-onna, I'm sorry, I had to do that, I can't stand being away from you, but I need to tell you something, it's bad news. It's about him.", he said in a sincere tone.
Onigiri-onna knew what was coming, but she didn't want to hear it, her eyes started to water.
"Please don't cry, we can do this, we can get away, pack your things.."
"B-b-bu-but I do-don't want to?" she stuttered.
"Love, we have to go, I'll go with you, we'll be okay, we'll come back, we can take Neko."
"Your coming?" she asked.
Rayiss took her hand and kissed her forehead while squeezing her hand.
"There is no way I'm leaving you, I promise".
Onigiri-onna flushed. She said quietly, "You're the only man I've ever loved."
Rayiss smiled, "I'm not a man"
Onigiri-onna giggled. "Half of you is. Your more of a man than most."
Rayiss loved her but he knew this was not the time to play around, they needed to get away.
"Onigiri-onna we need to.."
She placed her finger on his mouth and indicated him to be quiet. She gave him a cheeky smile and put her hand up his black t-shirt.
"Onigiri-onna we can't.."
"Shhh..we need to do this..one last time, just in case."
"Don't talk like that, this won't be the last time."
Onigiri-onna looked disappointed and took her hand away sourly.
Rayiss felt guilty, he knew she was trying hard to be confident.
"I'm sorry, maybe you're right, we should do this, but not just in case, but to celebrate that we'll be able to do it so many more times".
Onigiri-onna's eyes lit up.
She touched his face softly and kissed him while he lifted her up and led her to the silk bed.
Time bore no existence as the sun went down slowly.

Rayiss woke up in a sweat. He looked beside him, she wasn't there.
"No", he whispered, starting to panic, he went to the lounge, the front door, she was nowhere.
He ran back to the room and put on his pants and ran back to the door, he sprinted outside and started screaming her name.
"Onigiri-onna where are you?"
He knew exactly where to go, he ran back to her house and rumaged underneath the bed and found the ancient box.
Rayiss was half-demon, which meant he did have some of his own powers, but he was not evil, he was weak as a demon but he was strong as a man. He lifted out his sword. He was going to save Onigiri-onna.
He didn't dare waste any time, he kept his pace as he left to go to the bastards house. He had taken her, thinking that he loved Onigiri-onna more than Rayiss, it was never love, Rayiss knew he could never love, even if all his blood was human, he traded his soul to have strong demonic powers, something Rayiss would never do.
Rayiss got to the mansion and kicked down the door but it was too late.
There laid, the body of the woman he loved. Onigiri-onna's body.
Still as ever.
He walked towards it, with no hope. Suddenly he felt a powerful blow to his left shoulder.
"Do you want to die too?", said a cold voice.
Rayiss looked at the villain. He felt powerless, he was dizzy, in shock, too sick to fight.
Without answering, he held onto his sword and ran.
He would go to the ends of the earth to bring her back, but firstly, he knew he needed bloody revenge. -by roseluv05
