#4 : religion
Just going to come out and say it.
This subject made me... so... angry!

Subject #4.

Religion.
"Oh no! Religion!"
Now, I understand that this is a touchy subject, possibly the most touchy.
So, warning you.
I am a Christian, so I feel it as my duty to stand for my religion, but I will try to make this speech as fair as possible.
#1.
Okay. A public school in San Francisco had it's students do the most atrocious thing.
"What?" you may ask, "Were the teachers perverts?"
No.
The school made a class become Muslims for a week.
Okay. What the heck?
The learned about the religion of Islam, acted out prayers, and etcetera.
Now what really burns me about this one is if you can become a Muslim in class, why can't you pray quietly to yourself?
You clasp your hands together and bow your head... oops! Suspended!
You utter the word 'Jesus' ... oops! Sorry! Expelled!
So, what you're telling me is tha we can become little Islamists in public, but we can't even pray alone in private?
What is it with our country?
Imagine:
"Hey, Mom! Today we memorized the Quaran (Koran) and prayed to Allah!"
"That's great... Honey."
Now replace Koran with Bible and Allah with God and you got a mother filing lawsuits in all directions.
What next?
The teacher saying, "Okay class! Today we're going to start a jihad and decapitate something!"
Yeah. Sure. There'll be no objection to that, I'll be sure!
And, also, the 'American Flag' pledge issue.
"... One nation, under God ..."
As it's been for the last 2 centuries.
And now some radicals want to take God out of our pledge.
What are they going to replace it with?
Allah?
Heck no!
If we are going to be forced to play 'Be a Islamist' and pledge to Allah, we shouldn't stay here!
Bill of Rights, Amendment 1. (Part A)
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free excercise thereof;..."
Okay! It's right there! Loud and clear! First subject discussed!
"So?" again people ask, "It says 'Congress', not school board."
Now, answer this.
Aren't the public schools taking orders from the government?
Sure seems to be a law violating Amendment 1's statement.
No, it's not a "law-law".
It's a "school-education" law.
And it's making me barf.
