Kitten's MapleGlobal Intro At Maple World, hunting and engaging in battles are not the only options you'll have. You can explore a totally new and unknown world you have never been to, put on beautiful clothes and gorgeous accessories, and even attract other users in the process. You may begin the journey to explore the world of unknown alone, but you may come out on the other end with numerous new friends through hunting and chatting. If you're tired of hunting and competition, how about playing minigames with a friend for a change? You'll become a brave adventurer protecting the Maple World, and if you're exhausted from all the intense battles and competition, you may one day build your own house at a quiet rural village, enjoying the life of a recluse who welcomes visitors. At Maple Island, you will learn from the NPC's simple hunting skills and basic control of the game to help you ease into the game. Then, you'll board the ship that heads to Victoria Island, and that's where your journey REALLY begins. From Lith Harbor that welcomes you from a long journey from Maple Island, you'll run into such fascinating towns as Henesys - the village of bowmen with comfy mushroom-shaped houses gathered together; Ellinia - the village of magicians with mysterious spells embedded between tall trees; Perion - the village of warriors with the fighting spirit typical of the Indians living in highlands; and Kerning City - the village of thieves that reminds you of the back alleys of dark cities. You'll be playing the game at Victoria Island where all these diverse and unique towns and fields coexist. Here, you are going to be just a regular gamer hunting down monsters and protecting yourself in the process. You'll be given 4 paths to choose from, 4 that will define your life in MapleStory: Warrior, Bowman, Thief, and Magician. 	Adding Humor To The Game The characters featured in the game display humongous heads and feature a ton of hilarious facial expressions to draw a smile to your face. Cute, charming monsters, various events, and minigames within the game are all available for you to enjoy. Distinctive Graphics The towns are featured in their own, very distinctive ways, which allows the users to fully appreciate the different dynamics each town has to offer. Small details such as the scrolling background that follows the character's movement only adds to the beauty of the game in itself. As for the attacking skills, the higher the level of skills, the flashier, the skills get, making each attack a dynamic, eye-pleasing experience. 	Download The Game Head over to the menu on top of the MapleStory website. Click on "Guide" to open a tab, and then click on "download" to head over to the download page. CLICK HERE Click on the link to have the download window open, then click on "save" to start downloading. Choose the directory where MapleStory will be installed. If you want it saved on a default folder, just press "next." The game has been fully installed. Press "Finish" to end the InstallShield wizard. 	Creating A Character After choosing the game world, you'll be choosing your character. Select a Character: Play the game with the selected character Create a Character: You'll create a new character. Each account can possess up to 3 characters. Delete a Character: Delete a character of choice. This pops up after clicking on At the left of the character are the items it is equipped with, and on the right, the name and the stats. The character can be outfitted with a basic set of clothes, face, and hairstyle. Click on the item at the right of the list to choose the item of your liking. Choose the name for the character, then press CHECK to see if the name is available. The stats for STR, DEX, INT, and LUK will be randomly assigned through a red dice on the right of the screen. You can roll the dice until you find the right combination of stats for your character. Choose the character you want to play with, and then click on "choose character" to start the game. 	Item Inventory The Item Inventory Window displays all the items held by the your character. Your items are classified in the Item Inventory Window in five tabs: equipment, use, set-up, etc and pet. Items held in storage are not displayed in the Item Inventory Window. Place the cursor over an item to see the item's requirements and attributes in detail. Your total meso is displayed at the bottom of the screen. The "use" items can be placed in the HotKey's for quick access and use. 	Character Stats The Character Stats Window displays all the stats of your character. When you level up, ability points will be granted to your character. Raise your character's attributes by pressing the highlighted arrows next to the desired attributes. Distribute your attribute points wisely as each job requires a different attribute focus! The HotKey: (S) HP: A character will die if the HP level reaches 0. HP is decreased if a character is attacked or performs a particular skill that uses HP. The MaxHP of a character is 30,000. If a character's HP drops down to certain level, the HP meter will start to blink. Through the 'System Option', the HP meter can be customized to blink at a selected level. MP: Mana Points. Mana is required to perform various skills and spells. By default, MP will increase 3 points every 10 sec. MP can go up to a maximum of 10,000. Max HP: It's the maximum amount of Health Points a character can have. Max HP increases either after leveling up or adding a stat point to it. The amount of growth depends on the job and the skills that comes with it. Max MP: It's the maximum amount of Mana Points a character can have. (Mages) LUK (Luck): The stat that affects the accuracy of character's attack and avoidability from monster's attack.
