Will This Madness End? ~taki If I walk a little farther I’d be there in time To see the drunk men All fall in line But please tell me when When will they call for this again? Will it be really soon, Sadden hearts singing a horrible tune Little children who wish upon a star For that special someone to return from somewhere far But wishes are trampled And hearts are broken, So many words left unspoken. If I walk a little farther Will I see the many things that were pretend? Why did they lie, will this madness ever end? Finger prints still left on the glass, The lonely kids grew up fast. They didn’t get to say good-bye, Before their loved ones died. A single red rose on the graves of many, For now the war is over, But many hearts are now left heavy.
