A muffled yell could be heard from Hades who was incased in ice. Eventually the ice broke, and Hades yell could be hear full power.
"Were is he"yelled Hades, looking around.
"********, he's gone" said Hades to himslef. He looked over to see Death passed out on the ground.
"******** Cory, this won't happen next time" said Hades walking over and picking up Death over his shoulder.
"Man you've gotten fat" said Hades again to himslef.
"FREEZE" yell a man, judging by his outfit, he was probably part of the local police. Pointing his gun at Hades.
"******** s**t, can't I just go home"said Hades under his breath.
"Turn around, put the man down, and lay on your stomach" said the officer.
"Can't you see my friend is hurt, I have to get him to a hospital"explained Hades.
"I saw what happened, I don't know what s**t you were pulling, but your coming with me"said the Officer.
"I have to get him to a hospital he could be in serious condition" said Hades slowly turning around, and laying Death on the ground. The officer moved towards Hades, holstering his weapon and pulling out his handcuffs.
"Don't worry, I'lll call an EMT, to take care of him"said The Officer, handcuffing Hades'. The officer picked up Hades and was about to call for a EMT, when just then, Hades set his hand on fire metling off the chain connecting the handcuffs together. The officer quickly drew his handgun and fired, but Hades twisted the officer's wrist making him miss aswell as flip onto his back. Hades still holding onto the officer's hand, placed his foot on the officer's neck. Hades in the middle of choking the officer noticed the name on his badge, the badge said *C.Gratton*. Hades took his foot off the officer's neck and asked him.
"What's your name, man". The officer coughed for a few minuted before asking replying."Chris.....Chris Gratton".
"Dude, its me Adam"said Hades.
"Sure, Adam died a few months ago in a house fire"said Chris. Hades removed his mask. Chris looked at him like he saw a ghost.
"But......but, how, why, you can't be alive, I read the report myself, they found nothing in the house, it burned to the ground.
"Help, me and my friend and all explain everything"asked Hades. There was a short pause then Chris replied "Well you were ready to kill me a few moments ago, so I really don't have much of a choice, let me go and all help you out", just then the sounds of sirens could be heard.
"Thats probably my back-up so we better hurry"said Chris. Hades let go of Chris's arm and helped him up. Hades quickly pick-up Death and followed Chris who was half way to his police cruiser. Chris and Hades both got into their cars and sped away, Chris in the lead. He lead Hades through some rural streets, probably to avoid the rest of the police who were headed their way. Eventually they arrived at a very nice house, that was located at the outskirts of town. Chris and Hades both got out of thier cars, Hades carrying Death.
"Come on in side"said Chris opening the front door. Hades follwoing him in.
"Down here"said Chris going down into the basement. The basement wasint a finished basement. The steel support beams and polls could easily be seen, and the cement foundation was the only walls in the room.
"Lay him down on the couch over there"said Chris. Hades doing what Chris said, laying Death down on the couch. Chris sits beside Death placing a stethescope on his chest.
"Since when did you become a cop"asked Hades.
"Since when could you set your hands on fire"asked Chris.
"I asked first"said Hades.
"Fine, I originally wanted to become a doctor, even though I said I wanted to be a cop, and an astrophysisits"explained Chris."Now you tell me something, and all continue".
"Damn it"said Hades "Fine, I was on my way to work, when I got jumped but Bryan and his friends. Your turn" explained Hades.
"Half way through my seconds year, something happened."said Chris.
"What....come one, you can't stop half way"said Hades. The sounds of the creeky stairs could be heard. A women walked down the stairs, she was a petit women, with shoulder length blonde-brown hair.
"Dude, its Marleigh"said Hades.
"She's why I had to drop out"said Chris."Hello hunny, what are you up too"
"I was going to ask you the same thing"replied Marleigh in a soft, dreamy voice.
"I just met up with Adam and Jermaine while I was at work, I'm just trying to help out Jermaine here"explained Chris.
"Adam"said Marleigh.
"Ya"replied Hades. Marleigh slowly, almost glidded over to Hades. She looked him directly in the eyes. She had bright grey eyes, with a slight blue tinge. Marleigh stared at Hades for about two or three minutes, then she kicked him with almost all her might in the groined. Hades dropped to the ground almost instantly.
"Owww man, I forgot about that, owwww"said Hades in extreme pain. Marleigh giggled as she made her way to Chris, leaning on his back. Chris was laughing hysterically.
"Oww man, so why did you drop out cause of her"said Hades still moaning in pain.
"She was diagnosed being a sociopath"said Chris. Marleigh slapped Chris in the back of the head.
"Hey, don't worry he's cool, he won't announced it"said Chris to Marleigh.
"This is wierd"said Chris.
"What is"asked Hades
"Well, the body has electrolytes in it, thats was containes all the energy for your body. Your body contains millions of these electrolytes. When you get tired its because some of these electrolytes are running out of energy. With Jermaine here, all his electrolytes are empty, I'm amazed he's alive, cause there is no energy in his body. I don't even know how his heart is still beating with no power."explained Chris. "Don't worry though, I already hooked him up with some I.V. He should be fine ones the bag is done. Hades finally gets to his feet.
"Ok, how long does that take"asked Hades
"About 30 minutes"replied Chris."I'm need to do some stuff upstairs, all be back in about that time. You can just stay here and watch him"
"Cool, ya I gotta make some calls anyways"said Hades.
There's a phone over in the corner"said Chris pointing to behind the stairs, as he walks up them.
"Nah, I got my cell, but thanks."said Hades pulling out a blue cell phone from his pocket. Chris completly dissappears from sight. Hades searches a number on his phone and calls it.
"Ya, Condor, whats up, cool, cool, you got Death's s**t, he'll be annoyed if you don't. Nice, thats why you rule. Um, a little favor, I got into a fight with my stupid brother and he killed my guns, could you get me some new ones. Nice nice, oh, it doesint matter when I get it. Cool cool, all be over tomorrow to get his s**t. k, peace."said Hades hanging up. He searches another number and calls that one.
"Come on, come on, wake up and pick up the phone. Nice, ya, Heph, did I wake you. Oh sorry man, kk, cool, have you gotten around to making my s**t. You got one half made, k, cool. No, I don't need them now, I was just checking up, so I don't forget. k, I'll talk to you later, bye"said Hades. Hades makes one last call, but he punches in this number instead of having it already in the directory
"Hey man, whats up, long time no talk. I got some wack s**t to tell you. You too, awesome we need to get together sometime. Ya, I'll call you when I got the time to hang out"he hangs up his phone and waits. The sound of the creeking steps could be heard. Chris appears from the stair way.
"K, its should be almost done"said Chris checking the I.V. bag. He shakes it a little probably to make the liquid go down faster.
"K, there he's good to go, but he wont wake up for a while"said Chris. Hades picks up Death and carries him up stares.
"K, thanks for everything"said Hades.
"I want to know more about you two, cause Jermaines blood work i got from him is messed, and I wanna know about you too, here, take my card"said Chris handing Hades his card.
"K, thanks"said Hades walking out the front door. "I guess all be seeing you later"as he put Death in the passenger seat.
"I guess, talk to you later"said Chris. Hades gets in the driver side and drives off.
