Latias's Journal... Thingy
Don't mind this. I'm just storing some posts...
Mel: The two flew hand in hand, white below brown, like two little floating parachutes shooting towards earth. "Ready?" He grinned, tugging on her wrists slightly. She giggled, Brille could be so serious when he wasn't trying to be. He swung in the air, transposing the momentum onto his sister's body, sending her into a spiralling freefall, her hair whipping around in an attempt to keep from dizzying herself. Her wings craked open, and she caught herself, flying upwards in a syncopated arc, kicking, and then back to her brother's level. "Nice!" he said with an affectionate nudge. Regan and him had been practising that for ages now, picking out every imperfection. She nodded, and then turned to him, black eyes glinting with laughter "I'm hungry." She muttered, and grabbed onto his feet (c)

Mel: shoving him downward "I hear and obey, oh mighty Regan, queen of the lazy." She kicked his knee at this comment "Watch it, you. I wouldn't mind weaving one of those brilliant feathers of yours into my hair." He coughed. "You couldn't hurt me. You know you couldn't." he smiled. "I'd stop being nice to you." "Can we just get some food?" She changed the subject. "Ha! See?" She kicked his knee. "Food. We can talk on the ground. Now go." He sighed and dropped downward, heading for the woods behind a small gas station-restaurant combo. You couldn't get finer dining then that around here. "Ooooh! I like this place." She screeched with joy and dropped to the ground, a few meters from the ground, wings folded in, blonde hair trailing behind her, tan skin shining. (c)

Mel: Brille let out a sigh once more. His sister was so...unpredictable. But he was in her good books again. Anyone holding a 13oz steak and a piece of cherry pie could win her heart pretty quick...for a while. He brushed off the debris and dust from his face, hair and pants, spitting in his hands and greasing down his buttery-coloured hair. He looked alot like his age, up close. Him and his twin were 15 as of the last time he checked a calendar. He smiled at the thought of his best friend; and sibling; the only other one he knew of with his same definition, and predicament. The two had been through the worst the school could throw at them; mainly having more avian dna grafted into them after the first graft, six years after the first one. He shivered, hair prickling at the thought (c)

Mel: of those men and women who called themselves scientists. Cretin, more or less, in his mind. He shoved open the door, and Regan smiled and waved him over, plate already full, weilding a fork and a dangerously large steak knife in each hand. She smiled at the waiter, and he groaned. They always did that...brought her food earlier. Regan could do that with people; change their minds, make them do things they didn't want to do. She had been able to since she was a child. He got the raw end of the deal when they handed out powers at the school, that was for sure. He sat down on the overly-padded seat stinking of must and years of loyal service. "He's bringing you some too." She grinned. (d)

Lati: "Shadow, hurry up," Crescent muttered quietly. "I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying." Cresent glared at him, and he flinched. It was... the look. Every time she looked at him that way, he felt his spine prickle. "Fine, fine," he muttered in a more hushed voice. "Just don't look at me that way again." Crescent's mouth formed a small smile but then it faded, as she turned to what was in front of her. It was... really, what was it? She'd never seen an Eraser like that. The eraser was, like every other one, beatiful, and it was all the more reason that Crescent thought it was an Eraser. "What do you think she's doing here?" Shadow asked, barely a whisper. Crescent shrugged. Of course, there was no definite answer. "We really should get out of here," Shadow noted. "Fine." The two slunk out of the (c)

Lati: shadow of the building they were hiiding behind and ran for it before the Eraser could take notice. "Hey!" They'd been caught. "What are you two kids doing here?!" Crescent turned back, expecting a wolf-face next to her, but it wasn't. "This is a closed photo shoot. You two had better get out of here before I have to call your folks." Shadow glared blankly at Crescent and she smiled ebarrasedly(sp). "We're going, sir," Shadow said in a more polite voice. "We're sorry, right sis?" Sis?!, Crescent though stubbornly, but then nodded. "Yes, we're going to disappear as fast as we can." After fifteen minutes of total and complete silence as the two headed away from where they from, Crescent shouted out, "How was I supposed to know it was a photoshoot?! And that the Eraser was actually a model?"

Lati: "They looked exactly similar to every other Eraser we'd ever seen. And I'm half blind!" Shadow just groaned at the excuse. "We'd better get some food," he said, randomly changing the subject. "I see a station up ahead." Crescent stopped to think for a second. She longed to feel the air through her feathers, though her long, black hair, but she needed more energy to do so. "Fine," she said, barely audible.

Lati: The two were next to the opening door, when Crescent flinched. "What's wrong?" Shadow asked as he noticed her flinch. "I... I feel someone inside that's not like everyone else.." "Is it an Eraser?" Crescent shook her head. "More like... us." Well that was a total surprise. "Oh, really." Shadow said blankly. "Do you still want to go in?" Crescent nodded. Her curiosity was getting the best of her. Well, as they say, curiosity killed the cat. But it bright these birds closer to their destiny.

Lati: "So, shall we step in, mistress?" Shadow asked, overexagerating his politeness. Crescent just gave him one of her "looks" and stepped in. At first glance everything looked normal, except for a couple teens in the back, one of them staring at a bowl full of food, and a fairly wild look in her eyes. As always, Crescent closed her eyes to listen to the thoughts of the people around her, but all she could hear from the girl were thoughts of how hungry she was. Oh how the girl wished she could dig deeper into the thoughts of people, but alas, she couldn't. "Well that sucks." Shadow looked over to her. "What?" "Nothing." Shadow just gave her a "yeah, right" look and went ahead to order some food. "Hi, I'd like to get..." he glaced at the menu quickly, "two steaks and chicken, two sodas, -c-

Lati: "two sodas and some onion rings, please." The attendant, if that's what you can call them here, nodded and sent their order back to the kitchen. "Might as well go take a seat," Crescent said and movied to the back, two tables over from the other two kids.

Mel: Regan stabbed the meat, tearing into it like some sort of ravenous monster. "Ha's 'our 'pobleh-..m?" She asked, mouth crammed with food, napkin now tacked to her cheek. "Look...who do you think they are?" He stared ahead, at the two teens who just entered, looking oddly uptight and worried. "Dunno...care to find out?" She asked, evil look in her eyes. She bent over across her seat, skirt shifting as she did. "But could I ask who you two are?" 'Tell me why you're so...worried...' she bore into the one's mind, gently. Brille just jabbed a piece of the pasta he was eating, head in his palm, attention currently completely interested in his food. 'Don't do anything stupid, Tink...rational...rantional...' he muttered sliently to her. The two had an odd connection in that way...

Lati: It wasn't long before their food arrived. "Are you sure you're going to be able to eat all this?" Shadow nodded. "Certainly." The attendant just shrugged and asked the next person in line what they wanted to order. On his way down the isle, there was dropped coat in the was of the isle, but Shadow still went towards it. "Watch out," Crescent said loudly enough so Shadow could hear. "Of wha--" And that was the end of that. Shadow's foot dragged the coat and he tripped, the food in his hands, but as he fell, Crescent looked over, raised a finger and with it the foot hovered in the air for a split second and then hovered to the nearest table, while Shadow tumbled to the floor like a tree that was just cut down. "I told you to watch it." Shadow growled slightly, but stood.

Lati: He took the food and walked over to where Crescent was sitting. "You'd better watch it, someone might have saw me making the food hover," crescent hissed, glaring. Shadow glared back but didn't say a word and started eating his steak.

Lati: After that mini argument, Crescent heard a voice behind her. "Hm?" An odd question. She felt the same aura from her as she did from the outside of the building. Was she... "Me? I'm Crescent. And this is my clumbsy friend, Shadow." She blinked. Why in the world did she tell them their names? Why didn't she just say, "none of your business." But what was done was done. 'Tell me why you're so... worried.' "What?" Crescent stared at the mysterious stranger. 'I should ask the same thing,' Crescent replied, using her own telekinetic powers.

Mel: Regan straightened 'It's not us who stumbled into the building. You can sense the tense...ness from you two.' Meanwhile Brille simply sat and stared deeply at his plate of food, now shovelling food into his mouth. "Gah! Sh-...uh..." He pulled his leg up onto the booth's cusion, staring at the object that had lodged itself into his leg, which was slowly going numb. He reached for his sister's arm, causing a groan from both sets of plates due to their movement. "We really should-" "I'm talking here. Just..." He glared at her. 'They're here...who cares about strangers...' He snapped. The two had a parculiar bond which allowed them to speak freely between each other, without the fear of being heard by anyone. It was just simply one of those odd things that came with being a twin. He got to (c)

Mel: feet, dragging Regan up with him "We have to go." He said, hint of panic in his voice. He slammed the money down on the table and pulled his defiant sister along with him. Causing more than the odd confused look from the other restaurant's patrons. As soon as they were out of sight, Regan noticed her brother's odd gait. "What the hecks your problem?!" She glared. "We have to go. There's erasers in there. With guns...with odd...gun...things..." He wavered. She swore under her breath. "Can you fly?" "Think so...though whatever this is, it's messing with me." He shivered. She spread out her wings. "We'll fly...somewhere. Grab on. Your turn to ride. My turn to drive." she smiled and pushed off, Brille's wings snapping out as well. He grabbed ahold of her airbourne feet and relaxed for once...

Lati: "Tenseness?!" Crescent was close to losing it. "Of course we're tense, with all the Er..." she was stopped short by Shadow. "Park it." It said sternly. Suddenly his gentle eyes switched their nature, turning cold and hard. "But-" Again, she was cut short. The two teens stood and then left in a hurry. And then Shadow disappeared. "Not again," she muttered, cursing. He didn't exactly disappear. Just moved too fast for human.... mutant eyes to follow. "Get back here, Shadow!" She screamed, finally loosing it, despite all the murmers and looks from the guests. Like the others, Crescent lay her money on the table and followed. Shadow was at the door for a long couple seconds while Crescent had to walk.. run to the door. "No way," she said, looking where Shadow was staring. "They're like us,"-c-

Lati: Shadow murmured. Crescent rain outside, snapped her wings out and got a running start before diving up in the air. "You punks get back here!" Crescent shouted, even though they were a year older than her. She heard Shadow outstretch his own, more hawk-like wings, and blast into the air like a rocket. "A hand, please!" Crescent shouted down to him, knowing his super... fast... fastness. He wasn't quite as fast as a rocket, but he took Crescent's hand and reached the other two in less than 15 seconds. To them, it was almost like they appeared out of thin air, and Crescent said, "you've got some explaining to do," in a sing-song voice.

Mel: Brille stared at the two, face serene, most likely from the dart. Regan simply waved the two off. "Later. I gotta get thsi dead weight offa me...and fast. And no, you can't just help me. I don't need help. So if you want to tag along, be my guest. Three simple rules: no eating our food, no stealing our beds, and no asking questions. And you go all brave and bold on us and decide to try and fight us into submission, I'll punch both'a your faces in until you can't see. Mmm'kay?" She said without any hesitation. Her adrenaline was stemming it's way through her mind, changing her from the usually considerate, talkative Regan into some kind of she-lion. She flew on, unbothered. Brille could do nothing, really. He was numb all over...and his hands were starting to hurt...

Lati: Crescent rolled her eye (singular). "Well excuse me," she muttered crossly. "Maybe I don't want to join up..." Shadow glanced over at her, but then sighed. If they weren't going to join up with them, why had she bothered following them? Yup. That was Crescent. She looked at the two, and the... well.. dude (she didn't know their names yet) seemed to be weakening with every second. 'You really should take that thing off,' Crescent said into his head, a look on her face that was, well... you couldn't describe it. It was smug, cryptic and worried at the same time.
