"I was walking home with JC. We got to my house frist, just like always, and we said goodbye. It had been really akward since he started going out with Ashley"
..." Yeah, I know i still like him, but i have to pretend not to." ... "Yeah, Okay, See you at the movies; what time?".. "7:15? Ok, well cya there, bye." ~~Click~~
I got of the phone with Monique, my best friend, and decided to call Mikey to make sure he was gunna make it to the movies. I picked up the phone again and dialed his number.
"Hello?"
"Yeah, Hey Mikey, How are you?"
"I'm good, and you?
" I'm fine. Hey are you gunna make it to the movies?"
"Oh..aw man, i forgot all about that... what time?"
"7:15 mikey, 7:15. Hot could you forget? I reminded you in school!! Mikey you better be able to go."
"Okay! Lemme ask!" He answered like i was annoying him so i only replied, "Okay."
A couple minutes later he came back to tell me the bad news. "I'm Sorry Renee, I can't go, I have to finish a project i've been working on."
"What?! Come on, Why can't you finish it tomorrow? Or even when you get home from the movies?"
"My mom said I have to finish it before i go anywhere or do anything."
"Can't you just ask her one more time?"
"No, Renee."
"Beg her or ask her, Or something! PLease? I dont think i wanna go if you dont, maybe i can get other people to come..."
"Ok, ok, ill ask one more time." Of course she said no. I kept bugging him to let me talk to his mom so much, that he finally let me.
"Hi, this is Renee, Michael's friend. I wanna know if he can come to the movies if he promises to do everything he need for his project after? PLease? I really would like him to go."
His mom chuckled as if she found this amusing, and such an adorable thing to do. " Ok but he has to finish his project right when he gets home ok? Tell him that. And this is the last time he can do this."
"Ok Mrs. Davison, I'll tell him." I relpied and thought to myself, But this isn't the last time.
I heard some noices and Mike talking to his mom "Thanks Renee. ... You're welcome Michael." I said to him when he got on.
"Ha ha ha .. yeah, thanks." but he said this nicely. "well I'm gunna go do my project so i dont have to do a lot after the movies."
"oh, ok" i said disappointedly.
"See ya" He said. "Yeah bye." He was just about to get off the phone when i yelled to him, "wait!"
"What?"
"did you tell your mom what time yet?"
"No"
"Then tell her 6:15."
"ahhmm... Why?"
"just do it ok?" i said Not meanly
Mike thought for a few seconds then replied, "alright, see ya in a couple hours."
"6:15" i told him
"yes, 6:15" Then he said, "Love you."
" Love you too Mikey." ~~Click~~
