People make to much money for what they do!!! Mainly people in sports and the entertainment industry. At times I want to be in a place that rewards you for the sacrifices you have to make to do the job you do. Why give someone a million a year simply because they have genetics on their side, on the flip side I have to say that I still kind of agree with it because of mentally gifted people making money. It is hard to say that one is fair but not the other. I think that we should simply limit the amount of money the non productive parts of society make and give them to a better cause twisted like the military personnel. On that note, what makes an officer an officer? The collage gives them no advantage, why is it a prerequisite? maybe it is still left over from the days where the rich and influential wanted to control what was still considered a gentlemen’s pastime and instead of saying, "no, I am sorry, you are not wealthy enough or have good enough lineage" they changed it to a collage education required. Name a pre collage era successful commander that went to a general collage? I don’t know of any. Maybe we should place them in the fighting force and then determine who would be the best leader and make them go to a school entirely devoted to what they need to learn? Maybe kind of like starship troopers (THE BOOK DARN IT NOTH THAT STUPID MOVIE GRRRRRRR mad ) but don’t even let me go there, yet anyway. Leaders incapable of any true leadership (and all the moral responsibility it entails) are a problem anywhere but should not be tolerated in the military, and a collage education does not solve it, trust me I have been there, done that. Do you think your collage English/Science professor is any more qualified to lead men then their students? Think on it.
But I digress cool
We waste too much on things that don’t even matter. Too many people suffer only to see the reward for that suffering go to people whose largest concern is which side of their face is the good side.
