Poem's Meaning
A lonely panther surveys the scene,
Panther, panther so serene.
Running 'cross the lonely plain
I certainly hope it doesn't rain.
Like all great cats, panthers say water is no fun.
For all the struggles of the great cat,
Only serve to illustrate that,
One life we have to live and get it right,
Like those bugs that die after one steamy night.

The Loveless
This is just a tiny story I wrote up for someone when contemplating the neverending battle between good and evil.
There was once a sad, scared little girl who noticed she was different from the rest. It wasn't her skin color, or her hair, or her eyes. There was something about her heart that was just plain different.
This girl had never known love. As she got older, she tried to find it in all sorts of places. She tried talking, she tried friends, she even tried sex, but nothing could fill the void.
Her hatred grew of everything that showed love towards anyone as each day passed by that she didn't feel loved. It got to the point where she decided that the secret to life was mass-murdering and devouring the most innocent humans of all...

She learned that it was all well and good to hate, but the void was still there. There was more that she needed to do...she needed to find followers.
There was a problem, though. How could someone so full of hate get anyone to follow her? She worked and worked on her spells until she came up with the perfect spell...a spell which made anyone loveless listen to her.
Inspired by her work, she decided to spread her spell to the whole world. Millions and millions of people would feel like she did...hateful, angry and alone.
Soon everyone would be convinced that it was the moral thing to do to eat babies. After all, it was only logical that babies should be served for supper...at least, if you listened to her, you would believe that.
So she went into the world and started casting her spell, but there was a problem.
She found that not all were loveless. Some still held onto their love and logic. They refused to let go and give in to her spell.
The harder she tried, the more they resisted, and the angrier she got!
The more these people resisted, the more her spell was disrupted. These people had to be stopped, or her spell would be broken! She tried to kill them by making them feel unloved. She tried everything she could to make those people angry, miserable, and alone like she was. But they held out against her, and the spell was weakened.
The battle continues today, and you can join in as well, but remember...only the strong of heart should enter, for the spell is strong. If you have the courage and the care to face the spell, however, someday it might be broken.

Gimme the antivenom darn you!
Alright. Where to begin? The beginning! In the beginning, there was...
Okay, I'll stop, sorry. Odd sense of humor.
So I had a seizure about a month ago. Eh, whatever, it involved a hospital trip but that's about it. Didn't think much of it, but they wanted me to do an EEG.
Sooooo...
I spent the entire night Tuesday awake because it had to be a sleep deprived EEG. Which was fun, I watched Kiss Me Kate, National Treasure, Elf...and this science channel thing about venom where one guy went into the hospital from a deadly snake bite and was like, "I need antivenom," but they never gave it to him because they never trusted him fully when he said he needed it even though he was obviously dying. I don't want to get sick there. They were like, "Well if you'd been bitten by that snake, you'd be dead by now." So this guy's lying there dying...and they end up never giving him the antivenom, his body fights it off. What the heck?
Oh yeah, that was sidetracked. Sorry, I didn't like the venom people. They made no sense. We went to the hospital to get the EEG done, they put goop in my hair and plugged the electrodes in and all, and I was falling asleep and shaking the whole time. The woman asked me to breathe as quickly as I could and kept saying, "breathe faster!" And then came the lights. Flashing. GAH! I thought, oh well, this'll be over soon.
But apparently, I show signs of epilepsy. gonk Not sure where we're going from here, but I'm glad that we're in a century where seizures aren't seen as possessions by demons. That'd be interesting, but I doubt it'd be very productive. Unless, you know, there was a moviemaker around filming me and making money off of me, that might get something done, but who wants that sort of thing on them? "Sitting here, shaking uncontrollably, not conscious so I shouldn't really be able to be thinking the way I am and wouldn't be except I'm pretending I am so I must be, drool coming out of my mouth, my eyes rolled back into my head...and all of this caught on tape! Yes! I want everyone to see me like this!" I suppose thinking that fluently while being unconscious would be awesome. Impossible, but awesome.
So yeah. I'm not really on Gaia as much as I have been because I've been resting and all that jazz. Also trying to avoid things that upset me, like the new donation items being so awesome and me being unable to afford them xd
