God, this theatre is so poorly managed. We got bought out by another big chain, so now we've been transitioning for a little over a year. For the better part of that, I was barely trained because none of their legacy theatres are close by, and our GM was taking off every chance she got. She barely knows how to do her job, but she's been on leave for like two months now. During that time, the other manager quit, so we ended up having to get coverage, and now we're training another manager. I used to get a salary, but now they pay me hourly since the buy out. I've lost $400 a month since. :/

I'm a theatre manager, so I slave my life away to the unforgiving public so they can watch a movie 365 days a year. Weekends and holidays don't exist in my world.

Sounds similar to what happened with my sister about... 12 years ago? She separated from her boyfriend and moved back in while I was still in high school. My nephew was about the same age as your son at the time, so it was kinda like having a little brother, really. All my siblings are older than me.

I'm 27 years old. I live with my fam (because they're old, unemployed, and have bad health.) And I just screamed, "YEEEAAAH BOIIII~!!!" so loud that it woke up my mother before I head to work. Oops! redface
