Yeah there's tiny differences in both animes like Edward's hair in Brotherhood is really bright and blond.

I actually watched Brotherhood && the original FMA made earlier. I read a few of the manga here and there. I like both but FMA Brotherhood is I guess better in terms of following the story line correctly.
