I know how you feel~ I never once asked for gold, I made everything I have on my own. But then again, I was an artshop whore in my early days so most of my worth is from hoarding items I bought years ago. sweatdrop

Do you do yours straight from computer? You're off to a pretty good start! I used to use all kinds of tutorials. I even bought a few "How to Draw Manga" books, but I really only utilized a very tiny portion of the tips they hold. The only useful bits of info are already out there on the internets somewhere. The greatest lesson I've learned for doing art is, "Don't stress out, it doesn't have to be perfect." I used to get so strung out about every little detail being just right, which was really holding me back. So when I forced myself to quit worrying about whether it's perfect or not, it helped the creativity flow a whole lot more easily. I also learned to put art down for a couple of days when it's really frustrating me, so when I come back to it I'm able to see exactly what's wrong with it so I can actually do something to fix it. :]

Oh, awesome~! ♥ To be honest, the only reason my drawing hobby has progressed this far is because of Gaia.
This is like the best place on the internet to find inspiration, since it's IMPOSSIBLE to run out of character designs.
So if you ever want to practice drawing, I strongly recommend doing freebies on here. :]
