I'm 3fingeredJack. I live in Southern California. I'm married with 5 kids, two of which are also on Gaia. I was born with Phocomelia as a result of thalidomide. Look it up, dictionaries are good for you.
I'm a stay at home Dad and an artist. My main medium is leather, although I enjoy creating in just about any medium. Someday I hope to give stained glass a try.
I enjoy bike riding and cross training. I spend at least 2 hours a day in the gym and my average workout is about 75,000 lbs in two - three hours. I love the mountains. Mammoth Lakes in June is gorgeous! IMO, Twin Lakes at the foot of Mt. Elbert in the Rockies has to be seen once in everyone's life. One of my life goals is to climb Mt. Whitney. I'm currently training for the climb, with a goal of making the ascent in late May 2009 or 2010. Interested? I'm trying to put together a team. My current favorite place to camp and meditate is Joshua Tree National Park. November, during the Leonid meteor shower, is the best time to be there.
I love skateboards and have been riding since I was 15. I don't do it much anymore due to a busted shoulder in '05 and busted ribs in '06. Some folks never learn, as a skategeezer I'm one of 'em. After rehabbing myself for a year and dropping 75 pounds, I'm ready to go at it again.
I'm a Renaissance Faire geek. I started doing RFPS in 1987 in Agoura, CA. I went into self-exile for 10 years because of a job move to Colorado, but have returned to faire this year in Irwindale. Its great to be home! I was playing pirate before pirates were cool. Crack a history book and check out Christopher Newport. He's the historical character I portray at times. My main character is Don Domnio Corrado Tartaglia, Barone di Montemirlo. Playing faire as an italian is the BEST!
I have two tattoos - The Grim Reaper rides on my left shoulder and an Armored Viking on my right shoulder. My favorite color is black and I love skulls.
