well, i applied at the animal health technology program in my city (to become a vet technician, it's basically like the nurse, which I find suits me better)
to get accepted into the course you needed 80 hours of volunteering at either a vet clinic or animal rescue place.
so I called around a bunch of places and this one clinic agreed that I could get my hours there
(mostly observing surgeries, watching the vets during appointments, ect)
After I finished my hours, everyone there loved me so they hired me for a job. whee
I've been there a little over a year of officially working.
I would suggest maybe looking into some animal related courses at your local colleges?
but i only friend internet people i really trust so i'm still confident in my security
anyway, she likes things like pop music and silly bandz and frogs (she really likes frogs) and is generally an extremely happy person
i mean, music is half my life and she doesn't even actively care what she listens to
meanwhile, i like mellow music and passionately hate trends and hate having my picture taken and am much more subdued
and whenever i geek out over something that i find really cool she's just like 'oh, you're such a dork!' and i know she means well but i don't want someone who thinks i'm cute for enjoying things, i want someone who legitimately shares those interests and will enjoy them with me
i'm dating a girl who is really awesome but i feel like i should break up with because we don't enjoy the same things but i will never be able to do it because i am ambivalent

you know, ambivalence isn't the same thing as apathy - ambivalence is when you actively desire two different things and end up procrastinating a decision for an extended period of time, or never making a decision, because you can't choose one option
i'm too often ambivalent but there's nothing i can do about it

only places that i used to go to every day did they not card me, but that only happened 2 times

in pennsylvania they carded me for a lighter once i was like wat
