It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world's best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy's family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.
Jimmy you are forever in our hearts.

I was so upset when I heard the news. I cried my eyes out when I went home. I kept watching their MVI movie and it kept making me even sader. But there is nothing I can do he is gone just like that. I was in LOVE with THE REV! I would have taken his place if it was just for him to keep making music. I would have taken his place so he wouldn't have upset so many people with his death. I think iam like the 5th upset person.
Iam so sorry for the loss of Jimmy Sullivan. His wife,band members and, the people who loved him miss him alot. I miss him so much. I agree with the band he was one of the best drummers in the world.

Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan iz gone and some people don't even care. But I care I was in love with him. No one can replace him. He was one of the best drummers in the world.I never knew him but when he died I thought I lost my bestest friend on the world. I don't want avenged sevenfold to find a new drummer, but i do want them to still be a band and play across the world. So I guess the only thing that they can do iz find a new drummer. I hope the best for avenged sevenfold. I hope the best for Jimmy's family. I hope the best for the band becuase they will never find another drummer like Jimmy anywhere in the world. No one will have his amazing voice his charm his skills on the drums or his great friendlyness. So good luck to avenged sevenfold. May god be with you on your interesting journey.
