Ai_MiyanoIntro:
Ai's a little over eighteen as of now. She lived through the chaos that had befallen Crosshaven a little over a year ago. She describes the Crosshaven tragedy as "the day that the Earth screamed for flesh and devoured the many citizens of Crosshaven, before sending the hounds of the Underworld to feast upon those left behind."
She has emerald-hued eyes that have a permanent 'caught-in-the-headlights' look to them. Her ash-blonde hair has turned unruly after a lack of care and it reaches to her shoulders now. She wears only the clothes on her back, and carries a red sketchbook, and a pack of charcoal pencils, as her only belongings.
She's become very quiet, mostly talking to only her puppy, Kyrn, that she rescued while Crosshaven was still whole. She flits about the edge of Crosshaven, never venturing too deep, as if terrified that the Earth will once more roar and rise from its proper place to finally catch those that had escaped once before. She is currently searching much of Crosshaven for any familiar faces, even though it has been about a year since that day.
Background:
Ai ran away from home when she was 14. She excelled in the Arts: black magic, hexes, sketching, poetry, and science (which can be an art if used right) and that talent was pronounced by her hometown to be 'evil' and they practically cast her out. She used to have a fairly laid-back behavior, especially with anyone she trusted. Although now, her guard has come up and she seems to be in a state of mourning that doesn't end.
The essence of childhood has perhaps been lost to Ai now though, after seeing the loss of Crosshaven at the age of seventeen.
Arcane Gift:
Ai is able to control the element of darkness: manipulating shadows, ect. To use magick, she carries a red sketchbook that allows her to access the magick circles necessary for the hexes and spells. She's not known for fighting, but for her defense. She can mask her presence in shadows or create small screens of darkness and sometimes she can create threads of darkness to heal a small wound. The only offensive ability she has would be her ability to summon a phantom pain into her foes upon contact.
Other:
Her puppy, Kyrn, became fused with a shadow wolf that belonged to Shintai. Although it's darkened Kyrn's coat quite a bit, it hasn't seemed to have any other affects.
