We lived together too. It's pretty fun, though. I don't know. I don't really feel any different, but it's like we've got this high off of it, so we're extra mushy and gross about everything. Plus, neither of us daydreamed about our wedding when we were kids, so we have no idea where to start.

Sounds good. I know he wants a big wedding, though. And we're already living together, and have been for a little while. So it's not like getting married is going to be a huge life change for us. I think we can afford to wait.

Oh yeah. The hobbit movies would have been way better if I'd never read the book. Or if they hadn't tried so hard to be the Lord of the Rings. If you've read the books, then it's so obvious that they've got completely different tones and writing styles. Lord of the Rings is an epic story of the fight between good and evil. The Hobbit is a children's story about why greed is bad. They're so different!

Those feels. I totally understand. Every time the new hobbit movies referenced something that was in the lotr books that wasn't in the movies, I got suuuuuuper excited. My boyfriend told me he didn't want to watch them with me anymore because I was so distracting about it.

Me too! I got the extended trilogy box set on blu ray for Christmas. Big upgrade! I'm super excited about it. Sometimes, when I'm sad, I just turn the Fellowship on and let it play. It helps so much.

I'm the same. I'm a lord of the rings fanatic, but I can't seem to get through the Silmarillion. It's more like a bible or a textbook than a storybook. I settle for lotrwiki entries. redface
