On November 8th, 2014 at 3:27 AM, the love of my life was born. I am the proud Momma Dragon to my Baby Dragon, Tristan. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is my whole world.
I love Deadpool, Japan/Japanese language and culture, rainbows, fuzzy/shiny things, Pikachu, Batman, anime, and animals (especially squirrels, dragons, otters, unicorns, and dinosaurs). I also love tattoos/piercings and Ireland/Irish culture, and Pokémon and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They're my drug.
I'm an advocate for mental health and getting rid of the stigma attached to mental illness. Mental illness is no joke. It can be a matter of life and death.
On September 20, 2013, my best friend and soulmate took her own life. I have always struggled with bipolar disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and major depression and anxiety (among many other mental health issues), and her suicide really opened my eyes. Every day is a new challenge to get up and go through the motions. I often slip into the dark depths of my mind, but I can still hear her laugh and see her smile. I miss her more and more every day.
Suicide is never the answer. I am always here for anyone who needs a shoulder or an ear, stranger or not. I hate the stigma attached to mental illness. I do not judge. It's not my place. If someone needs me, I will give 100 percent effort to help.
