The woman grips the steering wheel, her dark eyes focused on the road as the wipers repel the raindrops splashing against the windshield. Besides her, a five year old girl with red curls colors in her coloring book. Everything happens so fast, a dark shape flashes in front of the car, the car skids then crashes hard into one of the rails and flips over before coming to rest by a huge cypress tree. All that can be heard is the screaming of the five yeared girl, screaming for her Mommy, who will never awake again..

Sixteen year old Alyssie wakes up, her one hand clutching a clump of her curly hair and the other on her mouth to keep the screams from coming out.
The same nightmare, Alyssie thought as she climbs out of bed and goes into the bathroom to splash water on her face before glancing at herself in the mirror, or is it a clue to my past..
