Hi. I'm Anai. I've been roleplaying since 1998 and I stumbled onto Gaia from hearing about it on Livejournal a lot, and have been a member of the site since a bit after it started. I was active through college and for a few years after, but then adulting took over and I was dormant on Gaia for nearly a decade.
I have also played on Achaea, Dreams of Divine lands under the same name as a level 100-something omnitrans Elder Dragon/dwarf monk who's multiclassed to Runie and Serp that's over 500 years old at this point.
I started running the con circuit with Xyloart back in 2003, and since then we've picked up (between the two of us) Lani, Cabin Boy, OWT, Bidelle, and a bunch of other people who I can't remember if they come here or not. (FOLLOW THE BUTTERFLIES). bwahaha. I've staffed Otakon twice, but then...adulting.
In the 'real world', I work in IT but was a band director in a former life. I still teach privately at home and my degree is not totally gathering dust, as I'm an adjunct professor of music at a local community college. Still married to my dearest love, still have two cats, have added two daughters to the clan.
