About

I can be surrounded by people yet feel utterly alone. Isn't it weird how our heart slowly turn to stone? You wanna know about me then just ask. But please, don't ask of my checkered past. I have things I want to hide. Like memories and feelings I keep inside. Just ask me yourself, and I'll tell you all I think you need to know. And with the end of this poem I too have to go.
-original from the mind of K.R.M You want a piece of me???? It seems like everyone does now-a-days. Well, come rip some off, and we'll see how far you get with it......

It all depends. They still learn the lessons a non-masochist would learn, they just learn different lessons.

Ah~ There are also those that are well aware of the risks of their actions. These kinds of actions are either ones that are paid for, as in they are rewarded for doing such things for the entertainment of others, or themselves. There are also those that enjoy such things. Masochists. Be it psychological or physical, to these, pain itself is a reward. They have learned that pain is a pleasure and thus indulge in it. Another reason for this is to either inspire other masochists, or to teach others of their situations, silly as they may be, and share their suffering as lessons. Hence the "Do not try this at home" disclaimers.

If you are able to debate these philosophies, it would definitely be interesting.

Let us simply start with one of the major points I use.

Suffering is the greatest teacher. The example that i enjoy using is this: Have you ever touched something hot and got burned? After getting burned, I bet that you learned to be considerably more careful when it comes to touching things that seem hot. The same principle resides in every situation. Yes, bad things happen. Instead of letting the bad things overwhelm you, simply stop and think rather than react. What did you learn from the situation? How are you a better person due to that situation? What opportunities have presented themselves since that situation?

Realizing these things, one learns to accept the negative much more willingly. Not to be gloomy. To be accepting.

Essentially the same thing. I've further developed my philosophies and have since shared them with others. Changed a lot of lives. ^^
