He needs to ask his parents first, but he's sure they'll say yes since I plan to take part of the college's work program and pay them a small amount of rent every month. (the work program will also help me pay for my tuition)

Exactly. Also, ty. <3 I'll be living with a Jewish e-friend, he's 20, lives with his parents and younger brother, so the idea sounds safe enough to me. Don't have to worry about him hitting on me all the time, there will be people around! Yaaaaay.

Yeah, that's why I'm headed that way.

I love the east coast, but I have nowhere to live there. So I'm just taking what I can get. Besides, tons of different people live in California, how can I not fit in? User Image

I used to live in Germany. In July 07, my family and I moved back to the US, so my dad could retire from the military. We moved to Missouri 'cause my mom's parents live here and my dad's parents are both dead. But ugh... everything that could go wrong, has. The house we live in is poorly insulated and was set afire a few months before we moved in, so the interior had some smoke damage that took around $8k to repair. It came out of my family's pocket to buy new wall paint and new flooring because all of the flooring had been torn out and the walls painted with three coats of white. We spent months fixing this house, where we can only get an Internet connection as fast as 256kbps. Why? Because we live out in the country. :/ I live 6 miles away from where I go to school. As for my mom's parents, they've bossed her around ever since we got here, have said awful things about her to their friends and to my mom and dad's faces, and have proven to be totally racist (I was dating this guy at my school, and I told my grandma about it, and her first question was, "Is he black?" wink when they really don't have to be. My parents aren't huge fans of me, I do believe my brother to be incestuous, and my best friend is moving 3 hours away from here after graduation with his aunt, and since my best friend is a guy I can't go with him. So... all signs point to "I need to leave".

I think CA will be right for me... it's CA, after all.

I'm ready for it, because I've got a ridiculous amount of problems that make it so I absolutely HAVE to leave where I am living now. (Missouri)

Myspaces are alright, but no one knows how to make their profiles not gaudy and atrocious, except for a select few and they're usually scene people.

Alright. Haven't applied for any colleges yet, gonna try to move in with a net friend in CA. Also filling out scholarship applications, which I received last week and are due in a month. Being an almost-but-not-quite adult sucks. -_-

I have a Facebook too, I actually kinda like it more. It's a bit more helpful than a Myspace is.

Gasp. Yeah, not too terribly long. I noticed you weren't on often anymore, but I figured I'd take my chances. Nothing to lose. User Image
