Hehe :3 If you want to travel around Japan for cheap, may I suggest the 123bus night bus through Willer Travel. For example: You board in Fukuoka (largest city in Kyushu) at around 10 pm, go to sleep, then wake up at around 7am in Kyoto. XD It's quite convenient and very cheap. Me and my friends went by bus to Fukuoka -> Kyoto -> Tokyo -> Hiroshima -> Fukuoka for around Y20000. neutral
I didn't get to spend much time in Shibuya or Akihabara except walking around... my main goal was Harajuku area/Takeshita dori, which was everything I hoped it'd be. XD
OH another thing. If you want to visit Kyoto, you can get to everywhere tourism wise by bus, get a bus pass for only Y500 a day. Everything leaves from Kyoto station. Tokyo the best way is by train or subway but the passes or more expensive, I think something like each day Y700 for just train and Y1200 for bus AND subway?
... anyway. Yes, you must go. 8D

Hmmmm, I see! I also find that fascinating. *O* If it wasn't for the danger, I'd totally go. I definetely want to go to the area someday though, at least to around Russia. And yeah, Japan is amazing, pleaseplease go. :3 No matter what, you NEED to go to Kyoto. It's amazing. My favourite places were Kinkakuji and around Gion~~ if you walk around the back streets at night, you can see many Maiko passing by on their way to appointments. Tokyo was good too, obviously. If you want to check the south, please go to Kumamoto :3 It's got a very long history, gorgeous castle, and known as one of the most fashionable cities in Kyushu! 8D
Omg impulse buying is hard hahaha. But what I find is that I find something while cleaning up the racks (especially checking the clearance, OMG found some great deals *O*), then I get to think about it for hours until my break or until I'm off. It helps with the impulse buying. xD

I'll be there for almost a year from the first of September til the middle of August (unless I die of the heat/humidity), it's a 2 semester study abroad. c: I'm hoping to visit my ex-room mate in Korea while I'm there, but I know like 5 words in Korean so I'm not sure if I'll survive the travel there. D: But it's reallyreally close to Southern Japan, so I might go and hope for the best hahaha...

Yessss working in retail is killing me cause I keep finding cute clothes super on sale and snapping them up. I can't spend all my paychecks, haha.

I'm just working in retail now for the summer til I head back to Japan. I'd like to work in a Japanese school doing something along the lines of cultural programs or a study abroad program in the future. :3 Sooooo I'm working to get my Japanese fluent. It's hard. :K
Awww ;3; heart I still draw sometimes, but only for gaia mostly XD No time! But besides being tired from work, I've been super great. University is going amazingly well. I could have graduated this year but going to delay my grad to study abroad in Japan again, which I mentioned, then writing an undergrad thesis... time sure flies by. *happy sigh* :3
