If you’ve made it this far, then you probably know I’m not a noob, in spite of my avatar. The fact that I look like one is sort of my fault (i.e. don’t do anything the admins will slap you for, they will), but I’ve learned my lesson.
Anyhoo, this is where I’m supposed to talk about myself isn’t it? I don’t know, but that seems kind of egocentric if you ask, but it’s all the rage these days, so I suppose I can allow myself to indulge.
Yes, I made this profile, and yes, I may make you one too (for a nominal fee). Wait, that’s advertising, not egomaniacal behaviour. I’ve got to work on this ‘talk about myself’ thing.
I’m a scholar at the University of Washington, I code, I sing and generally kick a**. I like to use the word scholar because nobody uses it anymore, and it makes me sound more important than a ‘student’ even though their synonymous. I have some of the most outlandish music in my collection, most of it I listen to regularly (see: Kaizers Orchestra). I work fulltime during the summer for a mathematician at a national laboratory (thus the fractal in my profile). I like to differentiate between trousers and pants (just thought I’d through that in here somewhere), I like trousers.
Umm… wow, I sound a little weird now that I read that… Meh, it’s probably because I am. I think I like it.
