It was a huge pain. I was never allowed to do/watch most things.
Like, I've never gone trick-or-treating ever
I didn't get to see my first rated R movie until I was 13 (at a friends house)
& don't even get me started on TV shows / music

Probably why I'm the only child of my family that lives a state away (I love my parents just had to put sum distance between)

Glad you didn't as well, you could have gotten stuck there.

But then again I'd love to see Germany and go to Tokyo, Japan
