Frozen Heart

Heart frozen in its tracks because of how you looked when I saw you, you reminded me of how I was before anyone tried to come into my life. If I try to reach out to you, would you push me away like I was never there or would you accept the fact that I want to help. I understand your feelings so well it feels like my heart wants to scream "I'm here for you if you let me."

I pray to god during a period of time hoping he would hear how my heart feels when you're in that state of mind, hoping that he would fix whatever is hurting you so I can be there for you. But you can only do so much until there's nothing left to give or do. I sit quietly waiting for you to open up to me because I can not force a frozen heart open that will never melt for another.
