Hexagon

Back when the chatterbox wasn't overrun by bots, though there were some here and there, there were things unused by most called 'gimmicks'. It took a brilliant mind or a crazy person to come up with one... I had the latter.



Sitting home one spring break, I had nothing better to do. I suddenly thought, "Hey... wouldn't it be horribly cheesy to make something with an original name and post a picture of what that things name IS?"



Of course, nobody had done it before myself... I started a trend.



ALL of spring break I sat there and posted that red hexagon. All over. Nobody could get it out of their brain. Eventually the PMs, profile comments, and threads from my newfound fans began to form. A fanbase was made. I was pretty much famous due to how much area I had conquered [the amount of threads] and left my mark. Plus my avatar had a sinister, yet cool look to it, as many had said.



At first it was simply a mule I wanted to bump with, yes I used to bump like nubsauces, but I wanted to do it in a clever way. It turned into something completely different and I guess I've gone down into Gaian History.



My gimmick has been run completely dry though. Try to get a name that is original and post a picture of what your name is and people won't notice you anymore... If you want to get fame here on Gaia, think of something incredibly witty or stupid that people will remember you for. And also, make sure your friends are out of town in Hawaii or wherever like I did on that Spring break 'cause I had nothing else to do for 7 days straight... just posting Hexagons... then after that week I still went hours a day posting it... Eventually it got extremely boring and I started talking here and there... then I starting talking every post... then I formed Hexagon's superpowers and backstory... then I revealed that my true account is Calo... then other stuff happened.



It was fun in the longrun.
