I love writing, reading, and horseback riding. The only thing I love more than writing, reading, and horseback riding is talking about those things. I'm a socially awkward science-fiction fantasy nerd, book blogger, animal lover, and agnostic.

I don't like stupid people or intolerance. I don't like people who can't debate and issue without calling it a fight and devolving into childish tantrums; there's nothing wrong with having a point of view or an independent thought.

GaiaOnline promises to refund zOMG power-ups "later".

Doesn't refund zOMG Power-ups.

Manages to find the time to create a chance item that may give out large amounts of GaiaCash to lucky buyers, which:

A) Devalues the investments of those who frequently purchase GC

B) Insults those who thought they were getting a refund for their useless power-up.

I mean, if Gaia's just going give GC away anyway, why not give it to the people who want to turn in power-ups for credit? Doesn't really make sense turning your back on obligations and inventing more obligations. Especially since Admin, Jak Bauer has right on his profile page:

"Scamming is when another member of Gaia takes your gold or items, or tries to take your gold or items, by making false promises ....

....Scamming generally involves a situation in which two members of Gaia make an arrangement ... and then one of the parties involved in the arrangement fails to live up to his or her promise of an exchange."

Am I supposed to file a scam report?

I was sold items by Gaia. That don't work. I was promised a refund. I didn't get.

Did they take my money? Yes.

Did they fail to live up to their end off the agreement? Yes.

And what's more disturbing than corporate greed and laziness is that the user-base seems to be more upset about not getting money for their free rings, than their bought an paid for power-ups.

I sell junk from towns, items from ZOMG, items for avatars, and alchemy components. Basically, if it is in my inventory and I do not need it, I sell it. As a general rule, if an item can easily be found in GaiaShops, I charge half the shop price. ZOMG recipe items, get sold for a little higher than what I paid to craft it.

With the collapse of ZOMG loot is now rare and therefore more expensive.

Items for Bidding--I rarely hold auctions, but when I do reasonable offers are usually accepted. Please do not pm me with the offer. The marketplace does not allow the removal of auction items, to best protect the bidders...Just enter the price you are willing to pay and hope I log on before someone else ups the ante.
