Weapon: Primarily Unarmed, fighting melee style. When the need arises he is trained with a long-range .50 caliber Sniper Rifle.

Limit Break: Level 1 - Crimson Blades - He uses the blood from his wounds as a projectile, getting some on his hands and slinging it at his opponent, the blade turns to glass in the air.
Level 2(not yet acquired) - Crimson Scythe - Similar to Cloud's omni slash. He uses the blood from his wounds to create several blades around him, he then clenches his fists onto an ethereal handle that grabs each blade one at a time, he strikes his opponent with each then creates one final large blade and strikes with it.
History:Base, although not his name at the time, lead a resistance group similar to AVALANCHE in the Midgar Slums. He considered them a rival more than an ally in the struggle. His team devised a plan to infiltrate Shin-Ra from the inside out, and he decided the best way in was to "donate" himself to the science department. There he was experimented on by Hojo, and infused with not only high amounts of mako but Jenova cells as well. He was not part of the Sephiroth Clone program though, hojo had other plans for this specimen. During a few of the treatments something went wrong and Base went crazy. He broke free and began to hunt down and slaughter the members of his resistance faction. He was found a few days later on the steps of Shin-Ra HQ and Hojo declared him a failure. Scarlet however convinced the president to enlist the experiment as a weapon under top secret control of Tseng and the Turks. Tseng was given full control of this new weapon and was the one to grant him the name Base. He was then given sniper training, giving him the endurance to lay in wait for days on end with limited supplies waiting for his target. He was also forced into learning various hand-to-hand combat styles, which he has mashed together into his own unique style. Complications occasionally arise from his mental stability, usually easily controlled by the shock collar disguised as the amulet he wears at all times.

Occupation: Expirimental Weapon under control of Tseng
Weakness He is haunted by the memories of his past, and is easily distracted by the mentioning of anything to do with his history. Also his limit breaks leave him dangerously close to death, especially his level 2. He is weak against Ice.
Other: He is rather demented, often spouting bits of incoherent ramblings, a side effect of the experiments performed on him. He often acts like a beast in a human's body, unpredictable and dangerously wild.
