It seems that after an update for zOMG! last year, any ring you equipped became soul-bound. So if you hadn't equipped it, you could still sell it. I think, I'm not very sure.

If a zOMG! item is soul-bound to you, it means you can't sell it. You probably got your ring as a freebie when you first started, or from the Halloween event from the pumpkins. I also think rings you get from quests are soul-bound. It's to prevent people from trying to make profit by repeating quests and such.
