when it rainsdo you look up or down?
if you look down, why?
i look up at the soothing cleansing rain
i watch it fall as life around me is staring with confusion
if you look down what is there to find?
a mark? a spot of wet ground?
thats all there is when you look away from the rain
there is no magical puddle just waiting for you to come sit in it
but yes i have looked down when it rains...but
i noticed something
i noticed that when you look down you are looking into the face of failure
and im not saying that failure is not good at times
it just looked weird when i looked into it
i saw something that i probably would have never believed to see if i didn't dress and act like i do now
i noticed a side of me that i keep inside at all times now
it was a side of anger that i have used many times for at least three or four years
this is why ppl ask me why i'm me
and why i act like i do
i like to be out there and shy and quiet at the same time
i am different, i am me
and proud of it
so when i look up at the rain i know that i'm not alone
i'm not the only one with problems
so when you look up at the cleansing rain, jump around in it, sit in it and just feel it for a second
and tell me what you feel: loneliness or if you know that you are not alone
because the anger and sadness collected in you is sure to make that choice
