Hello. My name is Bella. I'm your standard Gotham girl. My material interests are movies, tv, and books. Everyone tells me I live in my own little world. I call it Wonderland. I'm used to being the underdog and not being understood. I guess that's why I call Gotham a second home.
My other interests are the simple things in life. Like the feeling of bliss and freedom I get in early June, or the view of stars in an island sky on vacation in Fiji six years ago. My hero is Christian Bale. His movies are my fascination and my inspiration. Did I mention I'm an aspiring actress? His dedication to each and every role fills me with awe. He made me fall in love with Bruce Wayne (which is an amazing feat, because I grew up mesmerized by the Joker and admiring Harley Quinn. He truly brought him to life in the most faithful and fantastic way possible, honoring some of the best Batman comics ever made) and Cleric John Preston, and Cowboy Jack Kelly. Laurie, Thomas, Trevor, and Patrick are pretty far up there, too.
Not counting the Master of Accents' movies, my favorite movies are Robert Sean Leonard’s Dead Poets Society, the movie which changed my life and most inspired me to act, The Illusionist with Edward Norton, Amelie with Audrey Tautou, and Death at a Funeral with Alan Tudyk. I wish Zach Quinto the best of luck, because Spock is made of awesome. I enjoy pretty much all kinds of music. My favorite bands are Mika and Muse. But, I have a real soft spot for the retro stuff, like fedoras, old Gotham style cars, Abbot and Costello, and, yes, swing music. I used to know the lingo. There is something amazing about a fist fight tournament ala Fight Club, too. Don't even try to ask me how a girl who likes sunshine, rainbows, and swing, can enjoy a good fight or the right action movie. That's just how I roll. If it's got sleek cars, cool guns, good characters, and flying fists, I'm in. When I was little, Wednesday Addams was sort of my hero, but I'm not exactly creepy and goth. I used to be, though. If you're confused, that's okay. I am, too. I've been described as "sweet, idealistic, funny, strange, and slightly psycho." My favorite tv shows are: Doctor Who (DT FTW), Torchwood (Ianto/Jack), Moonlight (Josef Kostan FTW), Heroes (Sy-lar!), and Pushing Daises (Ned/Chuck). One final note: Equilibrium > The Matrix Trilogy.
