(This one was made after seeing a horrifying increase in rabid fan girls)
Holy hell.
I don't think I've seen so many Slytherin posers/fangirls in my life!
I am sick and tired of it.
I'm a true Slytherin, and you can read my posts in the Harry Potter subforum to find out why.
I have posted my reasons in full detail before, and don't feel like doing so now.
I'm too pissed.
For the record:
Yes, Tom is attractive. But TOM FELTON IS NOT DRACO MALFOY! Draco is a character in the books that Tom portrays. For all we know Draco could be ugly as sin. And he probably is. The Draco of the books has always had my admiration, even more so after HBP. Despite the fact that he can be stuck up, (and I admit being stuck up myself sometimes) he is not a killer. He has more personality traits than most people think, and I hope in the final book there will be even more of him and his complexities.
As for Serverus. He is evil. He is not good. JKR has interesting plot lines, but I've noticed that no matter what people want to think, she usually goes the simple route. Sirius is dead. Dumbledore is dead. And Snape is evil.
Lucius. Hm...aside from the man bow (that Jason Isaacs wears) he's probably my favorite character ever. The way he talks reminds me of me. He's cynical. He's sarcastic. And he's very straight forward with his insults. Lucius is my favorite Death Eater. And Bella comes in a very close second.
(And what I think what it means to be a Slytherin)
Being a Slytherin to me is doing whatever it takes to achieve what you want, and sometimes going about..shall we say..questionable ways to do it.
I mean, sure, Ravenclaws are smart, but do they use their brains most of the time in situations that really matter? No.
Hufflepuffs are nice, but since when has being nice got you anywhere? Sure, you may have lots of friends, but there are more important things.
And Gryffindors..they have courage, but their "bravery" also gets them into very dangerous situations. Some of them caused by the character's own puffed up ego. (*cough* Harry *cough*)
Slytherins are cunning, and at times deceitful, but what's so wrong with it?
And the examples we have of Slytherins are pretty dumb. Except for the Dark Lord.
Draco is a whiney git, but he does have a deeper character than we have noticed before. He may be, well, not exactly "evil," but not "good" either, however, he is NOT a killer. And he was sent to kill Dumbledore not for his own benefit, but because Voldemort would kill his family if he didn't. I mean, what would you do if you were in his position?

.I practically live there, and hope to work there some day (Over the summer, not permenantly. That would just kill the whole thing). There's just something magical about it that has always captured my soul, and it almost brings me to tears every time I see the fireworks. It takes my breath away at how much time and effort went into the construction, and how much thought went into the design. Mr. Disney sure got it right. And I pay my respects to him by adoring that place like he did. Despite the fact that he didn't live long enough to see many of his most popular rides completed. Having said all that I want to make it known that I am a Disney pureist. Meaning I detest:
.Disney movie sequels.
.California Adventure.
.Most of the rides that replaced the origionals that once stood in their places (However I will admit that I do like the additions to Pirates).

.I read far too much. I have a lot of spare time to kill most of the time so these are what I reach for. Some of my favorites are.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Romeo and Juliet, Interview With A Vampire, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Peaches, Beauty, The True Colors Series, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Girl With The Pearl Earing, Cathy's Book, Vampire Kisses Series, Macbeth, The Last Boylnn Girl, All of the Oz books, Peter Pan, Peter and the Starcatchers, Captain Hook, and Kingdom Keepers
.I have so many more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

.This is a bit of a touchy subject for me. It's my life's dream to become a film director, so movies really have a special place in my heart. I want to instill in people what directors of our time have awoken in me. To be able to mess with people's emotions. To make them laugh, cry, smile, cringe, jump, or scream. I want to see the looks on their faces during my films, and will always look forward to premieres.
.My list of favorite movies is far too long to bore you all with, so here, instead are my favorite directors.
Tim Burton, Steven Speilburg, Peter Jackson, Gore Verbinski, and George Lucas.
These men have achieved what I could only hope to dream about. True genious in their fields.

Oklahoma, Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof, My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera, Annie, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Chicago, The Producers, West Side Story, Spamalot, the list is endless. The only musical I honestly can say I detest is Catz. HATE. It put me to sleep. I opened my eyes and boom!. There was Rum Tum Tugger in his full glory. Not a pretty sight.

.I'll pretty much listen to anything depending on my mood, but it's mostly different generes of rock. And some pop thrown in for good measure. Never rap, or hip hop. .Ick.
