Some of my favorite activities are spending time with friends, creating art, playing Magic the Gathering, going shopping, playing billiards, surfing the net, clubbing, working on my site/blog.

My favorite music genres are Goth Rock, Deathrock, Industrial, New Wave, Darkwave, EBM, Synthpop, Drum & Bass, Happy Hardcore, House, and Techno. Quite honestly, I like nearly every genre of music, and yes, that includes Country and Hip-Hop. Some of my favorite bands are Nine Inch Nails, Pat Benatar, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Wumpscut, KMFDM, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Cocteau Twins, and Kamelot. I’m an avid music fan. You would be hard-pressed to find a genre I haven’t heard music from or heard of. My entire life has been surrounded by music. My parents introduced me to classic rock, dance, latin, oldies, and motown. My cousin introduced me to hard rock, metal, and industrial. She’s credited with introducing me to my all-time favorite band, Nine Inch Nails. I’ve been a fan for 11 years. My absolute favorite genres of music, however, are Goth Rock, Deathrock, Industrial, EBM, Darkwave, Synthpop, Drum & Bass, Happy Hardcore, and Techno. I don’t believe in the idea of “guilty pleasures”, either. I like what I like, and I feel no shame whatsoever for liking it.

My favorite movie genres are Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, Suspense, Comedy, and Action/Adventure. Some of my favorite films are Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Secret of NIMH, Pi, Dark City, The City of Lost Children, Sin City, V for Vendetta, Appleseed, and Union City.

I had a pretty decent childhood with plenty of family around me. Every life has its ups and downs, and while I can remember plenty of times that my life went to s**t, I’m still grateful for the life I’ve lived. A lot of kids out there have one or no parents, or no family, or no friends. I’m glad that I have a family and friends to spend time with or get into arguments with. smile

Yes, I am goth. I don't believe in that ridiculous uber-elite notion that “real goths don’t say they’re goth”. Spare me. The one biggest misconception is that all goths are supposed to be dark and gloomy all the time. It’s a complete and total load of s**t. Goths are just like any other group of people: we’re your doctors, lawyers, bartenders, hairstylists, dentists, zookeepers, and construction workers. We simply have tastes that fall outside the spectrum of what is typically considered the mainstream. Of course, there are those who pervert the concept, but I’d prefer not to talk about them: This is after all about me, isn’t it?

As for my personality, I am a brutally honest person. I don’t spare any details. I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. I’ve been called a “b***h” for it many times in my life, However, that doesn’t mean I’m always like that. I can be loving, nurturing, friendly, and fun. I am a total goofball around my friends, and I love to make people laugh. If I can bring a smile to your face, that makes me happy, too. I much prefer to have a few amazing friends than 20 friends who would turn their back on me the first chance they get. I’m loyal and proud, and I feel like I am a natural-born leader.

9 Things I Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus came, would I be standing here??

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't
