		 The Land 	  	 	of the Free







	It wasn't clear to anyone how or when they got here, but we did know this, they were evil, they were stupid, and they were hungry, very hungry. It was 300 a.i and everyone was in a small wooden shack in the elevated woods outside of helslengringe. They had guns, food, and lots of water. A hell of a lot of water. Of course that’s probably fitting for there location, seeing as helslengringe was sunken due to hundreds of years of global warming. I guess I should tell the story with my last few hours alive. In the beginning there were billions of humans, and they were all aware of global warming, and had taken a few small steps towards stopping it, but it was already too late, they had done too much damage to the atmosphere already. But there was still hope left, 100 years later a professor named Gregory Helslengringe was in Moscow when he was walking in the woods on one abnormally snowy day in the winter, even for Russia. While he was walking, he was thinking of his wife and children and the recent news reports of doomsday as the population was dying and dying in the northern hemisphere due to the nuclear winter caused by the third world war in which Switzerland launched nuclear missiles at America, destroying most of it. Russia helped, but failed. The Swiss just dominated all major countries and continents. He thought about how he had wanted something better for his family. He just sat there in the woods thinking about what it would’ve been like without all of this as he stared at that one horrible note, the one that can only mean bad news. One that says things like taxes and failed. This note was an eviction notice.



	As he thought about his family he started staring at the trees around him, those dead bare trees, he saw trees like oak, willow and pine. Then he saw it. The pine trees, even after there poor protection, and the eternal northern winter, this tree was still alive.



He cut the tree into pieces, put some into his knapsack, and brought them back to the laboratory at which he works. He studied the tree and tried to find how it could live in these extreme conditions. He finally figured it out, that the plant food put into the trees were to make the trees live extra long, mix that with the radiation from the nuclear missiles, which were specially engineered to kill everything, every single atom, molecule, everything. But it was a very special acid in which if neutralized can cure anything, and anyone. Fortunately, the plant food in the trees is a very abnormal base, it is strong enough to melt through glass, and any kind of metal, this has been treated extremely carefully, and if mixed with the nuclear radiation, it would neutralize the waste, and if you mix that, it can cure the atmosphere.



	He ran for his bosses house, as he ran there he passed all sorts of houses, he passed his former home which his wife was packing things from she yelled "Gregory!" he ignored her and kept running he turned a corner and two men grabbed him and took out knifes and said give us all of your money", he said " I don’t have any! I must get to the head professors house! I have some important information for him! One of the 2 men replied "Hey, take it easy, man, just give us your wallet, and we wont hurt you!" the professor replied "I don’t have any!" the two men obviously didn’t take too kindly to this, seeing as his body was found floating in the river nearby later that day, with a knife in his neck.



	So let's skip ahead 100 years shall we. The reports started in South America of mass cannibalism in Peru. Then it spread to north America, its believed that there are some parts of Canada that were effected by them, oh by the way, they are something that sounds childish to say, but they , the things that caused millions of deaths, are zombies.
