I'm a senior at University of Houston studying creative writing, an avid gamer (look out D&D and LARPs, here I come! ^_^), anime/manga fan (*drools*), a fan and buff on Ancient Egypt, and a cat lover (have two cats at home, one a Siamese mix, the other a Maine Coon mix). I also love to read a whole host of authors when I get the chance and am in the mood for it (you have no idea how much studying kills a want to read leisurely) Cosplay, and draw occasionally. I'm also a Shemsu of the Kemetic Orthodox faith (via House of Netjer) and it's very important to me.Recently, I've picked up a contract position working with Sentai Filmworks as a quality control agent, which basically means I check some of the anime that ya'll watch and make sure the disc plays, the subs are spelt correctly, etc. It's a cool job, but doesn't pay much. I do it more for supporting the industry I love than the paycheck.
