.You begin walking down the darkened corridor. A faint light shines off in the distance on a wall the color of midnight, as you near it you come to recognize the glowing as numbers, counting down, second by second. As you finally arrive at the wall you find yourself confronted by three doors. There is only one right way, one right door to choose. But which one. The first leads to vanity...glamour..and lust, another is a door to the past, and the other leads to nothing. Though it doesn't seem likely the door to nothing would be very wise. It may be the best choice. But then again stepping off into nothing could only lead to nothing but more doors. More choices, more chances to finally meet my demise. An elusive, seductive scent slowly finds its way into your nostrils, it draws you ever so close..you reach for the handle..but stop. Something tells you to look back, you slowly turn your head to see the second door. A half century of memories now broken renders you helpless, paralyzed at the horror of what you threw to waste. You slowly turn back and begin to walk towards the second door. As you arrive at the door you find yourself yet again reaching for the handle..so close you could feel the chill off of the brass knob. You grab onto the knob and begin to turn it, just as the door *clicks*. You feel a force slowly and ever so strongly, pulling you towards door number three. You fight it and finally manage to break free..You take only a fraction of a second to gather yourself as you glance back up to the numbers..only ten seconds left...

..at the last second you dash, your heart racing. You find a handle just in your grasp. You grab onto the handle and twist the knob, you finally hear the *click* after what seems an eternity this time the click louder then anything ever imagined by man kind. You find yourself screaming at the top of your lungs as you fall through the doorway collapsing onto the ground..You awaken moments later and slowly begin to bring yourself to your feet..pausing for a moment during the process of erecting your body to brush off your knees and slowly look back. Nothing there..no door, no nothing. Only an eternal darkness that one couldn't even begin to imagine to penetrate with any means of light. You then begin to circle back the other way. As you find yourself completing the transition to face the other way. A cold sweat diserts itself from all of your pores...Your eyes widen...Your jaw drops...All you can manage is to stand there in shock..
